Hana Bank conducted ¡°Global Financing Experience Program¡± targeting about 110 youth from 34 countries on Nov. 29.
The program was part of ¡°2023 Foreign Youth Korean Language Training Program,¡± hosted by the Ministry of Education and organized by International Korea Education Foundation.
Hana¡¯s participation as an official bank to patronize Global Financing Experience Program has joined efforts to raise the global standing of the Korean language.
The invited foreign youth stayed at Hana Global Campus in Cheongna, Incheon, for four nights and five days from Nov. 27 and spent a meaningful time by experiencing diverse Korean culture and communicating in Korean.
First, Hana Bank arranged tours for the trainees at Hana Bank¡¯s dealing room.
The visitors watched Hana Bank dealers¡¯ exciting work at the site of the nation¡¯s largest foreign currency transactions.
Next, the trainees toured the Currency Museum and the Anti-Tempering Center at Hana Financial Group headquarters in Myeongdong, Seoul.
They were also given a chance to look at the world¡¯s diverse currencies at a glance, a unique experience, and Hana Bank¡¯s knowhow in the counterfeit discrimination sector with a competitive edge.
The itinerary included dropping into ¡°Hana Play Park,¡± Hana Bank¡¯s brand experience space.
The visitors took time to enjoy Hana Bank¡¯s brand content by taking pictures of the background of the large-sized graffiti of global soccer star Son Heung-min, serving as a member of Korea¡¯s national soccer contingent, and Hana Financial Group¡¯s model.
An Argentine student participant said, ¡°Hana Bank¡¯s Global Financing Experience Program was a special moment for touring Korea¡¯s representative financial institution and having a first-hand experience of the unique culture of Hana Bank acting on the global stage. I hope to come here by nurturing global capabilities based on today¡¯s experiences.¡±
In February, Hana Bank delivered scholarships to Jakarta, Indonesia Korean School to nurture global manpower, and the bank has been conducting a project to supply educational supplies to students of foreign marginalized brackets.

Hana Bank Launches ¡®Hana 1Q App Group Meeting Bankbook Service¡¯
Hana Bank released a ¡°group meeting bankbook service¡± designed to manage group members¡¯ fees via ¡°Hana 1Q,¡± the bank¡¯s mobile app on Dec. 5.
The group meeting bankbook service is a system that enables a function of group meeting banknote based on the existing bankbooks without issuing new ones.
If a leader forms a group and he or she invites members, all members will be allowed to share all details of fees.
The service has functions, such as automatically informing of the fee payment date and unpaid fees to persons in arrears.
If a member requests his or her leader and it is approved by other members, a new leader will be designated.
Even if a leader is changed, the transactions of fees and the intrinsic number of the group meeting will be retained.
Hana Bank is to release a check card designed for group meetings.
If the check card is use at places, such as restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores, a cash-back equivalent of 3 percent to 20 percent of the charged amount will be rewarded monthly.
The check card will be issued only to leaders of group meetings, and even if he or she joins other group meetings, they will be allowed to obtain check cards.
