Hana Financial Group set its future direction, dubbed “New Hana, Everyone’s Happiness, Dreaming the Future” at a ceremony to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the launch of the financial group at Hana Financial Group’s Myeong-dong office on Dec. 1.
Among about 300 people on hand at the anniversary event were the group’s executives and staffers, including Hana Financial Group Chairman Ham Young-joo.
Hana Financial Group held the anniversary event to instill a sense of pride dubbed “Hana People” and share the group’s direction to pursue shared growth.
The financial group’s future direction is a reflection of what Hana Financial Group needs and an expression of its determination to implement “Hana of Sincerity” (Customers’ Values) and “Hana of the World” (Social Values).
Hana of Sincerity is an expression of the financial group’s devotion to the interests of people beyond Hana Financial customers.
Hana of the World means finance for sharing, finance for spurring hope, and Hana Financial’s partners to realize all social members’ dreams.
Hana Financial Group Chairman Ham said, “We’re at a moment in which Hana Financial Group looks back at the history of its growth and makes a new takeoff based on its own growth engines. Hana Financial Group has to be a partner of happiness for all social members, including customers, staff and social community.”
“Hana Financial has so far worked very hard, but now is a moment for us to catch our breath for a greater leap forward, and rest is not to stop growth, but the time for us to find things we lack and turn our eyes on the world,” he said.
Chairman Ham also took time to share diverse messages on hope at the CEO Talk session.
Hana Financial Group’s executives and staffers, including Chairman Ham, reached common ground to create new values for the group’s 100-year future amid the rapidly changing financial environment.
Hana Financial Conducts ‘2023 All Hana Day’ Drive
Hana Financial Group held a ceremony to declare the start of the “2023 All Hana Day” Campaign - an event of sharing “gimjang” of hope on Nov. 2.
All Hana Day, the 13th rendition, is one of Hana Financial Group’s representative ESG activities.
About 200 people, including Hana Financial Chairman Ham, participated in the event, and delivered more than 10,000 heads of kimchi cabbage to marginalized people.
Hana Financial is going to conduct diverse volunteer activities, including donation drives, until Dec. 30.
Hana Financial Supports Investments into SMEs, Ventures and Startups in Cooperation with MSS
Hana Financial Group held a ceremony to launch the first private equity fund at Seoul Startup Scale-up Center in Gangnam-du, Seoul, on Nov. 20.
The launch of the fund came about one year since the Ministry of SMEs and Startup came up with a plan to create a dynamic venture investment ecosystem in November 2022.
