NH Investment & Securities and Korea Exchange (KRX) jointly hosted KOSDAQ GLOBAL IR Conference in Singapore and Hong Kong from Nov. 1 to Nov. 2, targeting global institutional investors.
KOSDAQ GLOBAL IR Conference took place at Conrad Centennial Singapore on Nov. 1 and Conrad Hong Kong on Nov. 2.
The events served as an opportunity for NH Investment & Securities and KRX to introduce KOSDAQ¡¯s representative firms to institutional investors in major Asian areas and expand the base for global investment demand.
The attendees at the conference were KOSDAQ¡¯s 12 blue-chip companies, designed as those in the KOSDAQ global segment.
They included Golfzon, Hugel and Pearl Abyss, Alteogen, Eo Technics, Wonik IPS, HK inno N, DS Neolux, Hana Micron, Koh Young, Kolmar BVNH, and PSK Inc. Among the participating institutional investors were JP Morgan and Fidelity.
NH Investment & Securities has held IR conferences at major financial centers, such as New York, Boston, San Francisco, London, Singapore and Hong Kong since 2005.
NH Investment & Securities and Korea Exchange (KRX) have jointly hosted KOSDAQ GLOBAL IR Conferences in North Americas and Asia since 2017. Such events were interrupted by the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The latest KOSDAQ GLOBAL IR Conference, the first one in four years, was designed to help KOSDAQ companies explore new global investment demand.

NH Investment & Securities Obtains Privacy Information Management System ¡®ISO 27701¡¯
NH Investment & Securities obtained the international standard for information security management systems ¡°ISO 27701¡± certificate from the international certification institution DNV, the securities company said on Oct. 17.
ISO 27701 is the most prestigious certification in the personal information protection sector, legislated by ISO.
To obtain the certificate, companies are required to meet 49 management standards in eight categories, such as personal information gathering and treatment and system stability in accordance with GDPR, the EU¡¯s new data protection law.
NH Investment & Securities obtained the certificate in recognition for ramping up personal information protection management regimes in accordance with the revision of the act on the protecting of personal information, which went into September, and the expanding of ESG management in Korea and abroad.
The securities company has made strenuous efforts to protect customers¡¯ personal information.
NH Investment & Securities obtained the information protection & personal information protection management regime certificate ¡°ISMS-P¡± in 2021 and retained the international information protection management regime certificate ¡°ISO 27001¡± the company obtained in 2022.
NH Investment & Securities has offered a safe transaction environment to customers as the company was awarded the top grade ¡°S¡± in a regular evaluation of information protection by the Financial Services Commission in July 2023.
Kim Kyu-jin, head of the Information Protection Division at NH Investment & Securities, said, ¡°Customers are allowed to use diverse services on the back of the advancement of technologies and institutional changes, but since most services include personal information, they are required to prove customers¡¯ personal information are managed and protected in a safe fashion.¡±
NH Investment & Securities will redouble efforts and investments to build a personal information protection ecosystem so customers can utilize services without worry, Kim added.
