Samsung C&T Construction Group has showcased its blueprint for ¡°The Next Home¡± for the new direction of specific space changes tailored to meet customers¡¯ needs and display differentiated housing experiences.
The showcase took place at the housing culture hall ¡°Raemian Gallery¡± in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on Aug. 23.
The exhibition was held under the theme ¡°Raemian, The Next.¡±
The Next Home, suggested as a future housing model by Samsung C&T, allows occupants to design and change housing spaces freely according to their lifestyle through the ¡°Next Rahmen Structure¡± and ¡°In-Fill System,¡± developed by the contractor.
It enables unlimited expansion of housing by adopting next-generation home platform ¡°Homeniq,¡± covering diverse innovation services based on the latest technologies.
Samsung C&T plans to advance the realization of future housing by proving out available technologies and functions.
The Next Rahmen Structure is a new way to allow housing space changes, responding to occupants¡¯ lifestyles, a departure from the conventional wall structure.
Samsung C&T plans to adopt a basis based on a Rahmen Structure with vertical columns and horizontal beams sans household inside columns.
Apart from these, protruding columns and beams make a difference with conventional uniformed outside shapes.
The installation of outside insulation systems and integrated solar panels dramatically raise energy efficiency, showing features of future housing models.
The In-Fill System is designed to fill up premade modules at the Next Rahmen Structure – almost like a drawer.
The development of assembled module-style dry floors and walls enables the easily removal and reutilization of walls.
The prior production of a bathroom at a plant allows free allocation at each household¡¯s space.
The dry floor and modular technologies enable reutilization, raising sustainability of housing spaces.

Senior Executive Vice President Kim Myung-seok of the Housing Headquarters at Samsung C&T Construction Group said, ¡°Lifestyles have so far been adjusted at houses, but the Next Raemian will realize a full-fledged housing paradigm shift into one in which houses correspond to customers¡¯ lives.¡±
Another core element that complements a future housing model, suggested by Samsung C&T is the next-generation home platform to cover diverse housing culture and services.
Samsung C&T plans to adopt the home platform ¡°Homeniq¡± as a core element of the Next Home capable of applying regardless of the common housing brand.
The next-generation home platform Homeniq not only offers services tailored to meet various lifestyles, but also provides differentiated services.
Upgraded home IoT technologies have showcased premium services, such as art product purchase and exclusive shopping malls by expanding connectivity to the whole of each complex going beyond each household.
Vice President Cho Hae-jung of the Life Solution Headquarters at Samsung C&T Construction Group said, ¡°We plan to make the next-generation home platform connecting houses and diverse life services based on leading technologies complement a specialized lifestyle.¡±
