Hana Bank Takes Home Global Finance Magazine¡¯s Best Sub-Custodian Korean Bank Prize
Will hold the ¡®Money Dream at Work¡¯ Event to give gift boxes of useful office supplies until the end of November

Hana Bank announced on Sept. 19 that it was honored as the ¡°Best Sub-Custodian Bank in Korea 2023¡± by Global Finance, a global financial and economic magazine in the United States.

Global Finance¡¯s Best Sub-Custodian Bank Prize marked its 21st anniversary this year. 

It selects innovative and efficient sub-custodial services by financial institutions in more than 80 countries across seven regions of the world.

With this award, Hana Bank is once again recognized on the international stage as the best sub-custodian bank in Korea. So far, Global Finance has named the Korean lender as the best sub-custodian bank in Korea for a total of 15 times.

At the awards ceremony held in Toronto, Canada, Global Finance magazine praised Hana Bank for its optimized custodial service levels, competitive fees, and ability to operate computer systems tailored to customers.

¡°We are providing customized services based on our know-how in the sub-custody business accumulated over 30 years and our brand power as Korea¡¯s leading foreign exchange bank,¡± a Hana Bank official said. 

¡°We will continue to expand our customer base in the global market to become Asia's leading sub-custodian bank.¡±

Meanwhile, Hana Bank currently provides various customized sub-custody services for foreign investments in Korean stocks, bonds, and real estate securities, to global sub-custodian banks, foreign banks, insurance companies, and global asset management firms.


Money Dream at Work Event

Hana Bank announced on Oct. 13 that it will hold the ¡°Money Dream at Work¡± Event until the end of November. The event will give gift boxes of useful office supplies.

Since the end of last year, Hana Bank has been wishing its consumers good luck through the Hana OneQ Money Energy Campaign series. 

The Money Dream at Work Event will give Money Dream Works, a gift box filled with money energy to 2,000 financial consumers by lottery.

Money Dream Works consists of items that can be used at work, such as Money Strap, which is popular among office workers as an item for holding employee ID cars, mobile phones, and essential belongings.


Winning Prize at 2023 YouTube Works Awards

Hana Bank announced on October 16 that its Hana OneQ Money Dream campaign won the Best Social Acts Prize at the 2023 YouTube Works Awards, the first international advertising festival in the financial sector.

The YouTube Works Awards is an annual global digital video advertising festival organized by YouTube in a global partnership with marketing research firm Kantar. 

It takes place in about 20 countries around the world and select YouTube campaigns that set trends in the performance marketing industry.

This year¡¯s festival, now in its fifth year, selected a total of 42 finalists and prize winners in 10 award categories through a fair and objective judging process.

Hana Bank¡¯s Money Dream campaign obtained high points for promoting a wide range of social values, including sustainable development, corporate social responsibility and environmental issues. 

Through the Money Dream campaign, Hana Bank produced upcycled goods, such as fillings and packaging materials using waste banknotes, and provided them to customers through various events. 

Through this campaign, Hana Bank gained a positive responses from consumers, achieving desired qualitative and quantitative results through performance marketing.

¡°The campaign story of recycling discarded banknotes is closely connected to Hana Bank and brought about a change in people¡¯s perceptions through fresh ideas,¡± the jury said.

¡°We will hold a follow-up campaign of the Money Dream campaign in 2024 by preparing meaningful goods that wish our customers good luck and spreads good influence on our society,¡± a Hana Bank official said.
