On July 9, Shinhan Bank held a ceremony in honor of its 41st anniversary at the bank¡¯s headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul with the attendance of more than 100 employees.
After the ceremony, Shinhan Bank executives conducted a volunteer service activity to create an eco-friendly mural that reflects the bank¡¯s sincerity for customers and win-win growth.

After the ceremony, Shinhan Bank executives conducted a volunteer service activity to create murals with eco-friendly materials to show their sincere commitment to win-win growth with society.
Shinhan Bank executives, including President Jung, painted mural puzzles one by one and turned them into one big mural, complete with environmental protection messages.
The completed mural will be installed on the outside fence of Eunseok Elementary School in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, to beautify the school¡¯s surroundings and contribute to enhancing the cultural value of the school¡¯s neighborhood.
¡°We hope that this volunteer service project will help raise awareness of environmental protection among future generations and improve the school¡¯s environment, thereby enhancing the value of shared growth with local communities,¡± President Jung said.

Since the launch of the Shinhan Bank Volunteer Corps on July 7, 2004, Shinhan Bank has been leading the charge in ESG management by conducting volunteer social activities for neighbors in need and local communities with 124 executive volunteer activities to date.
15th Shinhan Music Awards
Shinhan Bank announced on July 13 that it held the 15th Shinhan Music Awards at the Shinhan Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The Shinhan Music Awards is the first classical music competition in the Korean financial sector to discover purely domestic talented classical music artists under the age of 19 and support their musical growth.
The winners are selected in four categories - piano, violin, cello, and voices.
At the ceremony, Main Prizes went to pianist Park Hae-rim and violinist Esther Park Esther of Seoul Art High School, cellist Lee Sae-bom of the Seoul National University of Arts. Three other artists took home Encouragement Prizes.
The company will provide scholarships of 4 million won each year for a total of 16 million won to the winners of Main Prizes and a one-time payment of 4 million won to the winners of Encouragement Prizes.
The winners will also participate in the annual S-Classic Week Program in collaboration with the Sejong Center for Performing Arts and the ¡°With Concert¡± Program with performers with developmental disabilities.
Hey Young Campus for Hannam University
Shinhan Bank announced on July 11 that it has signed a strategic business agreement with Hannam University to build Hey Young Campus.
Hey Young Campus is Shinhan Bank¡¯s first mobile platform for college students. It is a customer-centered app to meet college students¡¯ needs including electronic identification (mobile student ID cards) and academic services.
Through this agreement, Shinhan Bank will provide Hannam University with key academic services such as electronic attendance by using mobile student ID cards, push notification services for major academic announcements, academic grade and class schedule inquiries, library use and reading room seat assignment through the Hey Young Campus application.
Hey Young Campus is gradually expanding its services after gleaning the voices of college students. Recent upgrades have added new functions for college life, such as communities and study groups, votes for general student council elections and lecture evaluations.
In the future, Shinhan Bank will bridge the digital divide and fulfill its social responsibilities by providing customized Hey Young Campus services and differentiated digital experiences to colleges and universities.
