Lotte E&C Lands Cheongnyangni Zone 8 Housing Renewal Project

Lotte E&C was selected as the contractor to implement the Cheongnyangni Zone 8 housing renewal project, which will be built at the former KT Cheongnyangni branch office in Cheongnyangni-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.

The Cheongnyangni Zone 8 housing renewal project calls for building six apartment structures with a combined 610 units, 24 floors and three basement floors in the Cheongnyangni-dong 435 area. It will cover 89,299.67 sq. meters at a cost of 172.8 billion won.

Lotte E&C will adopt its own specialized design features, such as diverse skylines and the “curtain wall look” to raise the value of the apartment complex.

The Cheongnyangni Zone 8 has good transportation and education conditions with proximity to the subway line No. 1, Gyeongui-Joongang Line and Suin-Bundang Line as Cheongnyang High School.

Life convenience facilities, such as Lotte Department Store and Lotte Mart are within a walk distance from the new apartment complex.

A Lotte E&C official said, “We’ve proposed our own specialized design features with the construction knowhow Lotte E&C has accumulated as we had demonstrated in the Cheongnyangni Zone 8 and 7 housing renewal projects.”

Lotte E&C extended thanks to cooperative members’ support, and said it will do its utmost to make Cheongnyangni Zone 8 housing renewal project Cheongnyangni’s landmark, the official added.

Lotte E&C Executives and Staffers Conduct Volunteer Activity on Occasion of Memorial Day

Lotte E&C’s Charlotte Volunteer Group conducted a volunteer activity at Seoul National Cemetery on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Memorial Day, which occurred on May 27.

Seventy-five members of the Charlotte Volunteer Group comprising of Lotte E&C executives and staffers participated in the volunteer activity to spruce up tombs at the cemetery.

A combined 1,005 members of the group have participated in volunteer activities on 16 occasions for the past decade.

The Charlotte Volunteer Group paid homage to patriots buried at the cemetery and the souls of fallen heroes before sprucing up the No. 24 Tomb Area.

A Lotte E&C official said, “Executives and staffers participating in the volunteer activity had a precious time of being thankful to those who dedicated themselves for the country.”

Meanwhile, the Charlotte Volunteer Group has conducted “Love House of Dream and Hope,” a volunteer activity in which Lotte E&C executives and staffers refurbish houses based on their expertise related to the construction industry, since its inception in 2011.

The volunteer activity has been conducted by utilizing the money the contractor donates three times Lotte E&C executives and staffers’ contributions.

Lotte E&C Produces Executives and Staffers’ Content ‘Stand Us’

Lotte E&C has produced the 4-piece series “Stand Us,” a lecture-style content of Lotte E&C MZ generation staffers’ diverse experiences and stories.

The series is designed to build generation sympathy among the rank and file.

Three staffers representing MZ generation employees and one senior official appeared in the series, and each has spent 10 minutes to share experiences and stories.
