Hana Bank announced that it will hold the “Love of Country” Event in June, the month for patriots and veterans in Korea with an eye toward promoting the love of the country and the appreciation of patriots’ and veterans’ efforts and sacrifice.
The event will run until June 30 and is open to all customers through Hana OneQ, the bank's flagship mobile app.
They can take part in the event by pressing the “Thank You” button on the Hana OneQ event page.
First of all, Hana Bank will provide preferential interest rate coupons for Naemam Installment Savings to the first 30,000 customers who participate in the event.
By utilizing preferential interest rate coupons, customers can receive a maximum interest rate of 5.0 percent (pre-tax, one year) when signing up for Naemam Installment Savings.
In addition, during the event period, all military service personnel who bought Hana Bank’s military-only savings products, Hana Soldiers Installment Savings will receive free coffee coupons. National veterans and patriots with certificates issued by the Minister of National Veterans Affairs will receive the benefit of preferential interest rates when they visit Hana Bank branches and sign up for term deposits.
Hana Bank will donate 1,000 won per new term deposit signed up for through the event to nonprofit organizations that promote public service projects related to veterans and patriots to express its gratitude to them who set examples in loving the country.
“We are happy to hold the event to express our gratitude to those who contributed to making Korea what it is today in June,” a Hana Bank official said.
“We hope that this event will not only convey our gratitude to veterans and patriots but provide an opportunity for our customers to think about the meaning of the love of their country.”

In the meantime, Hana Bank announced that it will recruit college students nationwide interested in creating contents as the first class of the Hana Bank College Student Supporters until July 5.
The Hana Bank College Student Supporter Program to be launched in 2023 for the first time in the history of the bank is open to all students who are freshmen, sophomores and juniors at colleges and have a big interest in working at banks, regardless of regions and majors.
Those interested in the program can apply for it through the official website (hanabanksupporters.recruiter.co.kr).
A total of 50 students will be selected as the first class through document reviews and interviews.
The Hana Bank College Student Supporters will carry out activities such as production of SNS contents, creative communication such as planning and holding offline campaigns and Happy Hana Day activities at monthly meetings from the end of July to the beginning of November under the theme of jobs, daily lives and recruitment news at Hana Bank.
Through this program, Hana Bank plans to communicate with the younger generation in a new way from Generation Z’s perspective.
College students who want to work for Hana Bank will be able to take a look at Hana Bank’s employees and business operations such as various jobs within the bank, their work and daily lives, self-development, and the recruitment of new workers through contents created by the Hana Bank College Student Supporters who are none other than members of Generation Z.
All participants of the Hana Bank College Student Supporters Program will be given extra points in application processes when they apply for internships or public jobs at Hana Bank.
Participants who received good evaluations will be exempted from reviews of their job application documents in the application processes.
“We hope this will be a great opportunity for college students in career exploration to observe not only Hana Bank’s specialized job fields but its positive organizational culture,” a Hana Bank official said.
