Daesang Chungjungone launched new products under the lineup ¡°Anjuya Meoktaeyeolpung¡± — ¡°Meoktaeyeolpung Ganjang Teriyaki,¡± (soy sauce) ¡°Meoktaeyeolpung Yangneomchickenmat¡± (seasoned chicken) and ¡°Meoktaeyeolpung gungogumamat¡± (sweet potato).
The three new products brings to six the number of products in the Anjuya Meoktaeyeolpung lineup.
Anjuya Meoktaeyeolpung caused a sensation as the number of products sold topped 1 million pieces about 120 days since making its debut in March 2022.
The brand has become a steady seller as the figure surpassed 2 million units less one year after its launch.
Products of the brand Anjuya Meoktaeyeolpung were renewed with a new format by reimagining dried pollack, which has been used as a side dish while drinking beer in the 1970s and 80s.
Each sliced pollack of Anjuya Meoktaeyeolpung is bite-sized, as the products are made in a brisk, easy-to-consume format. The dried pollack is oven-roasted.
Each product, weighing 25 grams, is suitable for a nutrient-rich side dish as it contains 16 grams to 20 grams of protein, equivalent to the that of three eggs.
Daesang Group Inks MOU with Kyowon Group on Platform ¡®Deep Change Startup Prize¡¯
Daesang Group said on March 22 the group struck an MOU on the joint operation of the open innovation platform ¡°Deep Change Startup Prize¡± with Kyowon Group.
Deep Change Startup Prize is an investment-linked startup development program, which has been operated by Kyowon Group since 2019. The platform is operating support programs tailored to nurture innovative startups in diverse areas, such as education tech, lifestyle and ICT by selecting innovative startups and offering support according to each growth stage.
Under the deal, Daesang plans to build a mutual cooperation system with Kyowon Group and conduct joint activities to invigorate the startup industry ecosystem.
In particular, both sides will explore innovative technology startups in the food tech and bio sectors, collaborate in proof of concept for startups and commercialization, support systematic incubating linked to direct and indirect investments, and support startups¡¯ sales and global market exploration.
A Daesang official said, ¡°We expect to raise the success probability of Korean startups through mutually interactive, close collaboration with Kyowon Group as a startup development partner.¡±
Daesang plans to aggressively continue activities to explore innovative startups in promising sectors through diverse collaboration with the public and private sectors, the official added.

Chungjungone Releases Spray-Type Cooking Oil
Chungjungone put on the market: ¡°Truffle-smell Oil Spray,¡± ¡°Olive Oil Spray¡± and ¡°Grape Seed Oil Spray,¡± Daesang said on March 15.
The new products are used by consumers in a safe fashion since they received a certification from HACCP.
HACCP is a management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product.
They are released in accordance with a need to meet a new trend in which an increasing number of household use air fryers.
