NongHyup Bank held a smart farm road show to activate financial support for smart farms in Sangju, North Gyeongsang Province and Iksan, North Jeolla Province on Nov. 29.

Through the event, it conducted on-site training to strengthen employees¡¯ capabilities.

The newly prepared smart farm road show is an on-site training program which explains what a smart farm is, and how to provide financial support for smart farms, in line with an agricultural innovation plan laid out by the government on Oct. 5 through the spread of smart agriculture.

Theoretical training was conducted for two days, including the concept of smart farming, loan counseling and screening techniques, and on-site training to listen to the actual operation of smart farming equipment, success and failure cases of farmers in smart farming and the effects of smart farm adoption.

In addition, NongHyup Bank produced a comprehensive smart farm guide, which is a business data book related to smart farm loan consultations and screening, to activate financial support for smart farms and distributed it farmers through NongHyup Bank branches nationwide.

¡°I have a smart farm loan customer who is currently receiving consultations from me,¡± said Shin Tae-chul, head of NongHyup Bank¡¯s Sangju Branch, who attended the smart farm road show.

¡°Theoretical training and on-spot training have become a great help for me. I hope that this practical training continues to help employees increase their capabilities and competitiveness.¡±

Business Model Patent on NHOnePASS Automatic Login System

NH NongHyup Bank announced on Dec. 8 that it has completed the registration of a business model (BM) patent on an app automatic login system (NHOnePASS automatic login system) using NHOnePASS, a pan-NongHyup integrated authentication platform.

A BM patent involves a new business system or method implemented using information and communication technologies such as computers and the Internet.

NHOnePASS is a service that uses NH Smart Banking authentication means to easily authenticate without complicated procedures when signing up for and logging in to non-face-to-face channels of NongHyup affiliates even including NongHyup Mall and external channels such as Korea Airports Corporation.

In particular, the NHOnePASS automatic login system enables automatic login of partners¡¯ apps through NHOnePASS.

This can be seen as a service that has evolved one step further than the existing automatic login service, which was possible only by maintaining a log-in state in advance or using a specific certificate.

In addition, it supports automatic login between NHOnePASS affiliates without an NH Smart Banking login.

Launch of Digital ARS Service

NH NongHyup Bank announced on Nov. 22 that it launched the Digital ARS Service based on the first digital-based ARS consultation system in the banking industry.

Digital ARS is a consultation system that enables transactions through a mobile website without a separate membership registration or application installation when consulting with a call center over the phone.

When a customer using a smartphone calls the representative number of NongHyup Bank, the customer can use services by touching the smartphone screen without waiting for guidance or a connection to a call center employee.

¡°We expect that the Digital ARS Service will get rid of customers¡¯ inconvenience when waiting for an answer from a counselor and boost the accessibility of services for hearing and visually impaired customers,¡± said Kwon Joon-hak, President of NongHyup Bank.
