Hana Bank announced on Dec. 9 that it has signed an MOU on financial support for taxi drivers with the mobility platform Tada and Seoul Guarantee Insurance (SGI) at its headquarters in Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul on Dec. 8.

This agreement supports the expansion of driver recruitment for growing mobility startups and reduces financial costs on drivers, thereby laying the foundation for coexistence between companies and drivers.

SGI supports insurance policies for drivers selected by Tada. Hana Bank decided to provide low-interest loans to drivers using the insurance policies as collateral.

Tada plans to completely relieve drivers¡¯ interest burdens by paying all interest incurred in handling the loans.

Tada Next Drivers will be able to receive interest-free benefits, such as 36 million won for car purchases for three years and Tada Plus Drivers 24 million won for two years.

¡°I hope that this business agreement will lay the foundation for coexistence between companies and drivers in the mobility platform market,¡± said Lee Ho-sung, vice president of Hana Bank.

¡°Hana Bank will become a reliable partner for win-win growth and innovation-powered growth through steady financial support.¡±
