Hana Financial Group announced on Nov. 11 that it held a proclamation ceremony for All Hana Day and a ¡°sharing kimchi of love¡± event to announce the start of ¡°2022 All Hana Day¡± at Hana Financial Group¡¯s Myeong-dong office building in Seoul.
The All Hana Day Campaign started in 2011 and celebrates its 12th year this year. It is Hana Financial Group's representative ESG activity, and all employees will conduct various volunteer activities and sharing campaigns for about two months until January 2023.
This event was held in a face-to-face manner for the first time since 2019 due to COVID-19, with the attendance of about 350 people, including Hana Financial Group Chairman Ham Young-joo, CEOs of Hana affiliates, Hana employees, and the Family Love Volunteer Corps composed of Hana employees and their spouses.
This event was held under the theme of ¡°Happiness of All Connected through Hana,¡± which contains the meaning of Hana Financial Group's new vision. On this day, Hana Financial Group made a presentation about the major achievements and social values of the 100 Daycare Center Project, which creates jobs for youths and middle-aged adults, supports small business owners, single mothers and underprivileged teenagers and build high-quality public childcare facilities in areas with poor childcare services.
It also declared its will to create social values through the group¡¯s socially responsible management internally and externally.
In addition, employees of Hana affiliates across the country who participated in volunteer activities were connected online to strengthen their will to promote sharing activities.
¡°Hana Financial Group is carrying out various programs to support the marginalized,¡± said Ham Yeong-joo, Chairman of Hana Financial Group. ¡°I hope that these activities will generate positive butterfly effects. We will pump up our efforts to spread the meaning of All Hana Day widely in society in the vanguard.¡±
After the proclamation ceremony, employees and Korean and foreign customers held a kimchi sharing event in front of Hana Financial Group¡¯s Myeong-dong office building in Seoul.
After the kimchi-making event, Chairman Ham and executives and staff members visited five social welfare centers and delivered kimchi and a box of happiness using the ¡°Quiet M Taxi¡± which SK Telecom is promoting for job creation by hiring hearing-impaired people.
In the meantime, Hana Financial Group will spearhead the Donation Campaign for All Connected through Hana in which executives, employees and customers participate for a month starting from Nov. 11 to celebrate All Hana Day.
In this campaign, executives, employees and customers can donate children's books, clothes, toys and other items through Hana Bank's mobile app ¡°Hana One Q.¡± Items donated through the campaign will be delivered to child welfare centers.
