Shinhan Bank announced on Nov. 8 that the 3D animation ¡°Special Thanks to¡± episodes about the food delivery app ¡°Daenggyeoyo¡± brand reached the milestone of 10 million views on YouTube.
The episodes are ¡°Love,¡± ¡°Consolation,¡± and ¡°Hope.¡± They were released on Sept. 30.
¡°Special Thanks to¡± is an omnibus story-based, touching animation consisting of three episodes and one epilogue music video under the theme of love, consolation and hope, with characters Sol and Molly appearing as riders who use the food delivery app ¡°Daenggyeoyo.¡±
¡°Special Thanks to¡± was produced into high-quality 3D videos by various animation experts for seven months, delivering messages about the brand image of ¡°Daenggyeoyo,¡± a food delivery app that connects people and instills love and warmth in the modern society, which been isolated and disconnected due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In particular, the first episode, ¡°Love,¡± released on Sept. 30, shows Sol and Molly as food delivery service riders to convey love with delivery food to a deliveryman¡¯s parents raising his children alone, and the children waiting for their father. It surpassed 10 million views on YouTube in three weeks and received a lot of attention from customers, many of whom left more than 450 comments.
In addition, the episodes ¡°Consolation¡± and ¡°Hope¡± added more positive meanings by surpassing 10 million views in three weeks and two weeks, respectively.
The animation¡¯s original soundtrack drove the popularity of this animation as they create heart-warming sentiments among viewers, in addition to their moving stories along with high-quality videos.
The song ¡°Consolation for You¡± is a song created in collaboration between singer-songwriter Kang Ah-sol and SNS Lab in Shinhan Bank¡¯s Brand Strategy Office, and delivers messages of warm consolation and hope on Shinhan Bank¡¯s official YouTube and social media channels.
Shinhan Bank recorded 10 million views for all three 3D animation episodes. The cumulative number of views on Shinhan Bank¡¯s official YouTube channel exceeded 100 million.
During this process, Shinhan Bank¡¯s official YouTube channel reached 420,000 subscribers, ranking first among the four major Seoul-based commercial banks in Korea.
In the meantime, Shinhan Bank announced on Nov. 8 that it will provide a free and non-face-to-face audio guide service for visitors to Changdeokgung Palace in conjunction with the Changdeokgung Palace Management Office of the Palace Relics Headquarters of the Cultural Heritage Administration.
Shinhan Bank¡¯s audio guide service begins when people scan QR codes on the information board with their smartphones. It is linked to Shinhan Bank¡¯s social contribution website, ¡®Beautiful Bank¡¯ so all visitors can enjoy the service free of charge.
The content is not a simple narration, but is characterized by the reenactment of situations of the times thanks to voice talent donation by famous actors and voice actors.
Visitors and tourists will be able to have more fun through audio episodes with characters active at Changdeokgung Palace.
In the Changdeokgung audio guide service, actor Lee Jong-hyeok plays the role of Changdeokgung Palace and actress Kim Mi-sook a 750-year-old juniper tree, making historical facts more interesting.
Shinhan Bank plans to provide sign language videos for the hearing-impaired, and additionally provide English, Chinese, and Japanese versions for foreign tourists by the end of November so that anyone will be able to easily access the service.
Meanwhile, Shinhan Bank has been carrying out the role of guardian of Sungnyemun¡¯s cultural heritage since 2005 through an agreement with the Cultural Heritage Administration for ¡®one guardian of one cultural asset¡¯.
Starting with Sungnyemun Gate in 2020, Deoksugung Palace in 2021 and Gwanghwamun Square in 2022, the audio guide service will be provided to Changdeokgung Palace this time.
