Hyundai Motor Group will showcase new cars, including the new electric vehicle IONIQ 6 and technologies related to robotics at the Busan International Motor Show 2022 (BIMOS 2022) that raises its curtain at BEXCO in Haeundae-gu, Busan, on July 15.
Hyundai Motor Group said the IONIQ 6, the second model in its IONIQ dedicated all-electric-vehicle lineup, to be put on the market in July, will be introduced to Korean consumers at BIMOS 2022.
Hyundai Motor revealed the streamlined and timeless design of the highly anticipated IONIQ 6 last June 29. Currently some foreign media outlet and YouTube videos on the real picture of the IONIQ 6 were posted.
IONIQ 6, described as an Electrified Streamliner, is aerodynamically sculpted and makes innovative use of sustainable materials to reflect today¡¯s EV customers¡¯ values.
On display at the automaker group¡¯s pavilion covering 2,700 sq. meters will be the IONIQ 6 and the large-sized electric sports utility vehicle concept car SEVEN, which was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show last November.

Genesis will premier the concept car ¡°X Speedium Coupe¡± in Korea. The concept car incorporates Genesis¡¯ DNA (Audacious, Progressive, Distinctly Korean), while looking ahead to the next wave of EVs, highlighting Genesis¡¯ future as a true luxury electric vehicle brand.
The G70 Shooting Brake whose sale began on July 7 will be displayed. Spectators will be given the chance to test-ride the new car.
Kia Motor will open a 2,500 square-meter pavilion to introduce ¡°The New Seltos,¡± a new version of the compact SUV Seltos.
¡°The Kia Concept EV9,¡± a large-sized electric SUV concept car, which was introduced at the LA Auto Show last November, will be also exhibited.
Hyundai Motor Group will showcase products related to robotics, designed by the group as a future growth engine.
Among the exhibits on display are Boston Dynamics¡¯ four-leg walking robot ¡°Spot,¡± ¡°Plug and Drive (PnD) Module,¡± enabling mobility of traditionally inanimate things, from small objects to large community spaces, and small mobility platform ¡°MobED.¡±
IONIQ 5 Receives IIHS 2022 TSP+
Hyundai¡¯s all-new 2022 IONIQ 5 has received an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) 2022 Top Safety Pick Plus (TSP+) designation.
The significant achievement now gives Hyundai a total of nine 2022 Top Safety Pick Plus (TSP+) and 2022 Top Safety Pick Plus (TSP)-rated vehicles in its lineup, among the most in the industry. Hyundai and Genesis have a combined 14 TSP/TSP+ vehicles.

The IONIQ 5 is equipped with the next level of Hyundai SmartSense, advanced driver assistance systems that ensure the highest levels of safety and convenience on the road. IONIQ 5 is the first Hyundai model to offer Highway Driving Assist 2.
Other driving assistance systems available include Smart Cruise Control with Machine Learning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Driver Attention Warning, High Beam Assist, and more.
