President Yoon Suk-yeol instructed Minister Won Hee-ryong of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) to minimize inconveniences people experience while commuting by expanding transportation networks, such as the great train express (GTX) lines in the Seoul metropolitan area.
President Yoon received a briefing on the new government¡¯s policies related to MOLIT from Minister Won at the Presidential Office on July 18.
