Shinhan Bank Vietnam will provide total commercial real estate solutions in Vietnam by partnering with R Square, which specializes in commercial real estate data.
Shinhan Bank announced on April 6 that Shinhan Bank Vietnam signed an MOU with R Square on April 5 to provide information on commercial real estate in Vietnam.
This agreement will empower R Square to provide Shinhan Bank Vietnam customers with services such as brokerage, assets, interior design, employee housing management, and on-site due diligence support.
R Square, which established a Vietnamese subsidiary last year, has signed 40 percent of its contracts with global companies within one year of its establishment.
Shinhan Bank plans to improve service quality and customer satisfaction by providing customers with Vietnamese commercial real estate data owned by R Square.
The two companies expected to expand their influence in the local real estate market through this agreement.
¡°We are now able to provide a service that can reduce our clients¡¯ cost through strong collaboration with R Square,¡± a Shinhan Bank official said.
¡°We can help companies, in particular Korean companies, which want to do business in Vietnam by gathering and managing information for offices, factories and others after the COVID-19 pandemic.¡±
Meanwhile, R Square is expanding its presence in the Vietnamese commercial real estate market.
The company recently participated in Daewoo E&C¡¯s Star Lake City Project.
It is also providing services at the moment via an exclusive contract to sell and lease an industrial complex with an area of 5.5 million square meters, factories and warehouses with KCN Vietnam, a local real estate development company in Vietnam.
Attracting Indian Tourists to Korea
Shinhan Bank¡¯s Indian Business Headquarters announced on April 4 that it signed a business agreement with the New Delhi branch of the Korea National Tourism Organization to attract Indian tourists.
Shinhan Bank India Headquarters will launch ¡®Let¡¯s Go, Korea Installment Savings,¡¯ to help Indian tourists finance their trip to Korea under this agreement.
It is a 5.75 percent one-year installment savings product that can be paid from a minimum of 2,000 Indian Rupees (about 32,000 won) to a maximum of 100,000 Indian Rupees (about 1.6 million won).
Indian people can sign up for the product at local branches of Shinhan Bank¡¯s Indian headquarters and the mobile app SOL India.
Customers who have paid three or more times after signing up for travel installment savings accounts can receive 10 percent discounts on airplane ticket purchases and travel products provided by local travel agencies.
When visiting Korea, they will be given souvenirs provided by the Korea National Tourism Organization in an event for those with the travel installment savings accounts.
¡°As Korean cultural contents such as BTS and Squid Game are gaining popularity in India, they are naturally becoming interest in making trips to Korea,¡± a Shinhan Bank official said.

Shinhan Bank announced on April 7 that it held a ceremony in honor of donating 100 million won to support children at child welfare facilities nationwide at Salvation Army Headquarters in Chungjeong-ro, Seoul on April 6.
Shinhan Bank will donate 100 million won each year for the next three years to support 100 children every year from coding education to acquiring certifications so that they can secure capabilities required in the digital age.
In particular, this accompanying project contains business philosophies of Shinhan Bank President Jin Ok-dong, who wants to give a helping hand to the marginalized.
After donating educational laptops to children at child welfare facilities in 2021, Shinhan Bank made the donation in an effort to lay the foundation for children to become independent on their own and grow into constructive members of society, beyond giving simple supplies.
Since 2012, Shinhan Bank has been providing congratulatory gifts, including school supplies, to elementary school students at child welfare facilities across the country.
