Dong-A Pharmaceutical Launches Health Functional Food Brand ‘Good Joint’

Dong-A Pharmaceutical launched the health functional food brand “Good Joint,” which helps care for the health of joints and cartilage.

The new brand has two versions: “Good Joint Boswellia” and “Good Joint MSM.”

The Good Joint Boswellia contains boswellia extract, effective for the health of joints and cartilage. Boswellia, also known as Indian frankincense, is an herbal extract taken from the Boswellia serrata tree.

The Good Joint Boswellia is a sextet health functional food, containing vitamin D, effective in reducing a danger of osteoporosis, magnesium, manganese, zinc and selenium.

The Good Joint MSM contains MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) and NAG (N-Acetylglucosamine), which is effective for improving the health of joints and cartilage.

It also contains vitamin D and calcium, effective for forming bones and teeth.

People are recommended to take two capsules of the Good Joint Boswellia once daily while taking two capsules of the Good Joint MSM twice per day. The Good Joint items can be purchased from drugstores.

Dong-A Pharmaceutical introduced the eye health functional food brand, “Good Eye.”

The brand has released three versions: “Good Eye”, “Good Eye Lutein Zeaxanthin & Astaxanthin” and “Good Eye Lutein Zeaxanthin rTG Omega3.” The three items contain Lutein Zeaxanthin extract in common.

The Lutein Zeaxanthin extract is recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for helping the health of eyes by retaining macular pigment density, which could reduce by the aging.

It contains vitamin A, effective for eyes’ adapting to darkness and vitamin E, effective for protecting cells from reactive oxygen species, caused by antioxidants.

Good Eye, Good Eye Lutein Zeaxanthin & Astaxanthin contain Haematococcus pluvialis extract, effective for improving the fatigue of eyes.

In particular, Good Eye Lutein Zeaxanthin & Astaxanthin contains zinc necessary for the normal immunity.

Good Eye Lutein Zeaxanthin rTG Omega3 is proved to be effective for improving the dryness of eyes.

The Good eye items can be bought from drugstores. One capsule of each item can be taken with water once per day.
