POSCO E&C Opens Model House for ‘Songdo American Town The Sharp’

POSCO E&C opened the model home for the “Songdo American Town The Sharp” and began selling the officetel units in Songdo International City, Incheon on Nov. 26.

Songdo American Town The Sharp, to be built over an area at 155-1, Songdo-dong, Songdo International City, will have four buildings, each with three basement floors, and up to 70 ground floors for a combined 1,159 units, 498 apartment units and 661 officetel units.

POSCO E&C will sell the officetel units, except the apartment units that have been already sold out. Unlike the apartment units sold to Korean expatriates staying abroad and foreigners, the officetel units will be sold to Koreans.

The officetel units have four types: 206 units for 27 sq. metes, 82 units for 42 sq. meters, 242 units for 64 sq. meters and 129 units for 82 sq. meters.

A subscription offering for the website of Korea Real Estate Board will be conducted for two days from Nov. 30 to Dec. 1. Winners will be announced on Dec. 6, and contract will be made between Dec. 8 and Dec. 10.

Songdo American Town The Sharp is located three minutes from Campus Town Station of Incheon’s first subway line.

It has good accessibility to Seoul and Incheon International Airport. GTX B-line, a higher-speed commuter railway network to be opened in 2027, is expected to improve approach to Seoul via Songdo.

The officetel complex, located at the seventh construction section of Songdo International City, boasts abundant demand. It has affinity to the spread of a bio cluster embracing Samsung Biologics, Samsung Bioepis, Celltrion, K-Bio Lab, to be opened in 2026 and SK Bioscience headquarters, to be relocated in 2025.

The neighborhood around the officetel complex is also a campus town, embracing Yonsei University International Campus, Incheon Global Campus and Inha University Songdo Campus.

The officetel complex has good accessibility to Severance Hospital, which will be opened in 2026, and Yonsei Science Park, to be opened in 2030.

The model house for Songdo American Town The Sharp is located in the Songdo-dong area in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon.

POSCO E&C Launches Housing Service Brand ‘BLUET’

POSCO E&C released its new housing service brand “BLUET” on Nov. 11.

POSCO E&C had used it’s housing service brand “Onmaeum Service” (Service with All Your Hearts) for the past nine years.

The contractor has changed its service brand name to BLUET to be united with the philosophy and design of “The Sharp,” which underwent a renewal last year.
