KB Kookmin Bank launched a pilot dubbed KB MyData service, which allows convenient management of information scattered through various industries, including financial institutions in one place in early December.
The pilot service provides a customized asset management service, an expenditure management service, Target Challenge to help customers have good financial habits, Financial Plus to support the management of real assets and credit management, and Money Crew, which is an asset management service based on collective intelligence. It also offers If You, a goal-oriented asset management simulation service, KB Kookmin Bank said on Dec. 1.
Target Challenge is a customer participation content that analyzes assets and expenditures, automatically proposes personalized goals, and makes rational suggestions to reach target amounts. When the goal is achieved, it strengthens motivation by providing rewards such as providing badges.

My Safe helps the management of integrated assets by covering real assets in which customers have a big interest in their daily lives such as cash (foreign currencies), mobile phones, gold, gift certificates and memberships in addition to financial products.
Money Crew is a service that allows customers to share portfolios with their communities based on their nicknames and see the financial life of asset managers. You can follow and benchmark Money Crew members you are interested in and compare their financial lives with yours.
If You is a life planning service that provides complicated financial information after making it easier to understand. For example, it tells a customer if the customer needs a loan when buying a house, how much money they have to borrow from a bank and the best loan product.
In commemoration of the implementation of the pilot KB MyData service, KB Kookmin Bank will hold an event from Dec. 2 to 31. After giving consents to the KB MyData service, customers will be given Starbucks coffee coupons, CU Convenience Store coupons or Point Tree points of customers¡¯ choosing.
¡°The KB MyData Service will provide asset management experiences in which customers actively participate in setting and realizing financial goals,¡± a KB Kookmin Bank official said.
¡°We will continue to develop more customized KB MyData services so that the MyData platform will be able to evolve into a customer-centered life-friendly financial platform.¡±
In the meantime, KB Kookmin Bank announced on November 28 that it held the opening ceremony of Unsan Small Library on November 25. As a result, the Small Library Program sponsored by KB Kookmin Bank opened its 100th library.
On hand in the opening ceremony were Maeng Jung-ho, mayor of Seosan, Lee Yeon-hee, chairman of the Seosan City Council, Kim Soo-yeon, head of the Small Library Foundation, Kim Jin-young, head of the Brand ESG Group at KB Kookmin Bank and Yoon Do-won in charge of the Sales Group for Chungcheong Province at KB Kookmin Bank.
The library was remodeled from a fire station building for a volunteer fire fighting team to let local residents and teenagers use it more conveniently. In particular, the eco-friendly small library was built with wooden materials in connection with an ESG promotion project being carried out by KB Kookmin Bank.
The library building boasts a cultural program room and a children¡¯s library which create community spaces where people in local communities can communicate with one another.
On top of that, one side of the building features creative and impressive graffiti murals about the history and tourist attractions of Unsan so that it can serve as a small library representing and publicizing the area.
KB Kookmin Bank has been building small libraries and military bases across the nation as one of its social contribution activities since 2008.
The KB Small Library Electronic Book Service and KB Book Bus Service are helping children and teenagers enjoy reading books in nice atmospheres anywhere in the country.
