Sindoh, a Korean company specializing in 2D & 3D printers, is participating in Formnext 2021, the world¡¯s largest 3D printer exhibition.
The event takes place in Frankfurt, Germany, from Nov. 16 to 19. Sindoh has participated in Formnext every year since 2015, except last year due to COVID-19. In 2015, the company declared itself a specialist in 2D and 3D printers.
Sindoh showcased three new products - ¡°Sindoh A1SD,¡± ¡°Sindoh S100¡± and a new product for working stereotype - to be put on the global market. Sindoh A1SD, a new optimized 3D printer, adopts high-resolution LCD and high efficiency LED and utilizes the Masked Stereolithography (MSLA) 3D printing method.
MSLA helps to reduce printing time by hardening a single layer at once as soon as it is printed out via LED light.
This is one of the advantages of using the MSLA method, compared to the SLA method. It not only reduces printing time, but also enables it to print dental models faster than usual, such as an Inlay, which fills the space after removing cavities for teeth and a Bridge.
The latter is typically made of crowns on either side of the missing tooth or teeth supporting the ontic and is cemented in place.
Sindoh A1SD is recognized for its useful value in the Korean market.
Sindoh S100 heralds the company¡¯s entry into the 3D printer market. Sindoh S100, developed by Sindoh in cooperation with Materialize, a Belgian 3D printing software company, can reuse printing powder fully. It is widely used in the industry field in a big build size type with high printout quality.
Sindoh topped ¡°2021 Korea Quality Satisfaction Index¡± in the office multifunctional printer/3D sector.
Sindoh Challenges Working Prototype 3D Market
Sindoh¡¯s first product targeting the Working Prototype, displayed during the exhibition is ¡°fabWeaver-type A530.¡±
The company developed A530 and separately named the premium product line as ¡°fabWeaver.¡± A530, developed on Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) method, is Sindoh¡¯s first product of the brand fabWeaver, embracing Sindoh¡¯s all 3D printing technologies.
It can max out printing stability, precision and operational convenience so that design prototype and working prototype can be optimized.
Sindoh¡¯s booth at Formnext 2021 that featured fabWeaver products prominently showed its expectation toward the brand.
A530 will be released officially early next year, and Sindoh, placing the brand fabWeaver at the forefront, plans to continue to develop premium-level products.
Ji Yong-hyun, head of Sindoh¡¯s 3D Business Division, said, ¡°Sindoh has devoted itself to all areas such as the development of 3D printers, production, marketing and services for more than five years.¡±
In particular, in the development sector, the company has conducted global collaboration projects to raise its technology prowess, and conduct printout service activities to learn customers¡¯ needs and trends, he said.
For Sindoh, the brand fabWeaver means challenging, said Ji, adding that the company will show its own values with new products employing new dimension technologies on the global 3D market.
