Implements global marketing agency business until Dec. 31 to help Korean companies overcome crisis caused by the pandemic

Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) is conducting the ¡°global marketing agency business¡± to help Korean exporters solve complaints and grievances related to the protracted COVID-19 pandemic.
The project will be implemented free of charge until Dec. 31 to help Korean companies overcome crises caused by the pandemic.
KOTRA offers seven services, including delivering samples by proxy, participating in exhibitions by proxy and in-depth discussions by proxy, via its 127 overseas trade offices on behalf of Korean exporters which cannot make overseas business trips.
A Korean company which failed to participate in a Shanghai exhibition due to the pandemic was provided a global marketing agency service by KOTRA in which its overseas trade office conducted an on-site survey and delivered a video report. The company said it benefited greatly from KOTRA¡¯s assistance.
When participating in expos by proxy, Korean companies can receive booklets on the publication of Korean products as well as guidebooks and buyers¡¯ business cards.

KOTRA Holds ¡®New Southern Countries Business Week¡¯ to Boost Exports
KOTRA held ¡°2021 New Southern Policy Business Week¡± at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul from Oct. 5 to Oct. 6 in cooperation with the Korea International Trade Association, Korea Importers Association and others.
The event took place under the theme ¡°Inclusive Recovery of Korea-New Southern Policy Countries and the Future of Co-Prosperity.¡±
It consisted of five sessions, including mutual business forums, one-on-one export consultations meetings, seminars to discuss ways of promoting mutual cooperation, ASEAN Week and cultural experience zones.
KOTRA conducted online export consultation meetings and seminars designed to discuss how to promote mutual cooperation.
The export consultation meetings were divided into four sectors: business & partnership, startups, ICT convergence solutions, and education tech.
About 200 companies in 5G, ICT, medical/bio and startup sectors from new southern policy countries held one-on-one export consultation meeting with Korean 150 companies.
On the second day, embassies of six new southern policy countries, including Vietnam and Malaysia, held seminars designed to discuss ways of promoting mutual cooperation and introduced information on their respective business and investment environment.
KOTRA President Yu said, ¡°New southern policy countries are business cooperation partners important to Korea, and we will continue to provide support so that Korean companies can successfully do business in the new southern policy areas with continuously explosive growth.¡±
