Amorepacific Group held the 76th anniversary in a metaverse format, combining a digital and non-contact space, on Sept. 5.


In a metaverse anniversary event, Amorepacific Chairman Suh Kyung-bae emphasized the mission to make a “New Beauty world” in which anyone can lead a free and happy life by realizing his or her own beauty.”


Amorepacific will expand into the life beauty business by encompassing all moments of life. It will focus on cultivating high-performance categories, such as bio and “dermacosmetics” and the wellness category for health.


Amorepacific will offer super-personal beauty solutions tailored to optimally meet each individual’s needs, based on accumulated detailed customer data and digital technology.


Amorepacific also plans to create an advanced corporate ecosystem in which all stakeholders can proactively sympathize, he added.

Sulwhasoo Releases ‘New Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream EX’ with Reinforced Skin Resilience


The “New Jaeumssaeng (Concentrated Ginseng Renewing) Cream EX,” released by Amorepacific’s luxury brand “Sulwhasoo” has been upgraded to one that is reinforced with skin resilience.


An official with Sulwhasoo said, “Triple resilience-boosting and anti-aging cream is now more powerful than ever, thanks to the skin vitality efficacies of Sulwhasoo's unique GINSENOMICS.”


The efficacies of the upgraded version have been proven by a clinical study on 31 women aged between 30 and 60 by P&K Skin Research Center between March 3 and May 3.


The survey found that the upgraded version had the effect of replenishing, supporting and strengthening skin by raising skin density, resilience and reducing wrinkles, respectively.





Amorepacific Unveils Exemplary Practices of ‘2020 A More Beautiful Promise’


In accordance with the “2020 A More Beautiful Promise,” Amorepacific’s sustainable management goal announced in June, the Korean cosmetics giant is making every effort to make good on the five promises it committed under two pillar concepts: walking with customers and society and co-existence with Mother Nature.


One of the specifics of the concept “co-existence with Mother Nature” is about a reduction in the use of plastic in packing material products, fully recycling of plastic packing material products, reuse and the designing of turning them into compost.


Amorepacific launched a project to support the development of new products on condition of purchasing under a contract with the central government in 2019.


In 2020, Amorepacific has been carrying out four tasks with its four cooperative companies after raising a combined 3.1 billion won in a fund to reduce packing material waste and improve their reutilization.
