Produces promotional videos for voice phishing prevention and uploads them to social media

NH Bank announced on Sept. 6 that it will hold the 2nd All-Won One Friend Webtoon Contest. Applicants can enter the contest with webtoons featuring NH Bank¡¯s representative characters, ¡°Olli¡± and ¡°Woni.¡±
The contest will run under free themes related to ESG management and digital until Oct. 17. Any Korean citizen can participate.
In particular, awards for children and elementary, middle, and high school students will be separately held to inform future generations of the importance of environment, social and digital technology.
An entry webtoon should be between one to 20 cuts. The judging committee will review submissions in terms of subject suitability, originality, availability and completeness.
Moreover, NH Bank plans to secure fairness in the reviewing process by reflecting evaluations by NH Bank customers.The total prize money is 35 million won.
Prizes will be given to a total of 244 teams, including one grand prize winner. The grand prize winner will be able to take home prize money of 10 million won. Outstanding works will be registered on NH Tube, the official YouTube channel of NH Smart Banking, All One Bank and NH Bank.
Among them, outstanding children's works will be printed in a children¡¯s monthly magazine.
NH Bank will distribute the magazine to children¡¯s libraries and offices of education among others across the nation.
NH Bank will hold an event to publicize the webtoon contest. Anyone and any groups of people can participate in the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
Those who want to take part in the event by visiting NH Bank¡¯s official SNS channels. Starbucks Americano coffees and Baskin Robbins ice creams will be provided to a total of 360 people who will be selected through a lottery.
¡°I hope that more people will raise their awareness of ESG management which has a positive impact on our society through activities that fulfill corporate responsibilities for the environment and society through this event,¡± said Kim Hyung-ki, head of Marketing Strategy Department at NH Bank.

Videos for Voice Phishing Prevention
NH Bank announced on Sept. 25 that it has produced its own voice phishing prevention video to strengthen financial consumer protection and registered it on NH Bank¡¯s SNS channel.
The video was uploaded on NH Bank¡¯s official YouTube channel, NH Tube (https://www.youtube.com/user/nhbankCF).
The animation video makes it easy for financial consumers to understand, focusing on real voice phishing cases such as cases where swindlers disguise themselves as voice phishing victims¡¯ friends or family members.
The Voice Phishing Prevention part explains fraudulent methods and customer precautions against impostors who act and speak as if they were friends, family members or employees of financial companies and public organizations.
The Fake Deposit Bank Passbook Prevention part informs viewers of loan frauds, telecommuting job frauds and employment frauds and how to prevent them from victimizing innocent people.
¡°Voice phishing methods have become more sophisticated, and a growing number of people have fallen victim to voice phishing crimes committed by imposters,¡± said Lee Soo-kyung, vice president of financial consumer protection at NH Bank. ¡°We expect the public message video to help protect customers from voice phishing.¡±
Appreciation Plaque
NH Bank presented appreciation plaques to 60 outstanding small and medium-sized companies to mark the 60th anniversary of its foundation.
NH Bank announced on Aug. 22 that it has selected 60 excellent company customers and presented them with plaques of appreciation in honor of the 60th anniversary of NongHyup¡¯s foundation. NongHyup is the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.
This time, NH Bank has selected 60 companies as 100-year-long corporate customers through recommendations and reviews by sales headquarters in each region since June 1.
Kwon Joon-hak, president of NH Bank, visited a plant of Hwayo in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, on Aug. 20 and delivered a plaque of appreciation to Hwayo CEO Cho Tae-kwon.
