In the meantime, NH Bank will launch NH Smart Farm Loan targeting small and medium-sized smart farms.
This new financial product supports the development of farming areas and the economic growth of farming communities and help young farmers lead the agriculture of Korea in the future.
NH Smart Farm Loan can provide facility funds to farmers who want to open small and medium-sized smart farms in the protected horticulture sector.
Moreover, agricultural corporations can use this loan for building smart farms in the form of plant factories, said NH Bank on Aug. 11.
The loan limit is up to 500 million won for a farmer and up to one billion won for an agricultural corporation.
The loaning period is less than three years for credit loans and less than 15 years for mortgage loans.
This loaning service provides a preferential interest rate and an additional credit loan limit for farmers who have farming experience or received farming education. Farmers will receive know-how for successful farming through the NH Smart Farming School Mentoring Service. Special benefits will be given to young farmers, too.
Meanwhile, President Kwon of NH Bank visited DD Farm, a horticultural smart farm located in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, on Aug. 10 to listen to the opinions of those in the field. In particular, Kwon accompanied Kim Sung-che, a young farmer who applied for the NH Smart Farm Loan as its first customer. Kwon took a tour of Kim¡¯s smart farm, and wished him success.
