Takes home Excellence Prize in the 2021 Environmental Information Disclosure Awards

NH Bank announced on July 8 that it signed a ¡°business agreement for mutual cooperation in digital asset business¡± with Galaxia Moneytree, Korea Information and Communication and Hexlant at the bank¡¯s headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul on July 7.
The participating companies have decided to cooperate in octet-based custom research and development, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and security token offerings (STO), digital asset utilization payment and new business development in digital assets.
Digital assets and custody are new businesses with big growth potential. The NFT market for artwork, real estate, music and games is expected to gradually expand.
NH Bank plans to secure digital financial competitiveness by researching the digital asset market in earnest with the partners and promote equity investment and connections with other businesses.
¡°We will make efforts to discover new digital innovation technology-based businesses and create a healthy blockchain ecosystem,¡± said Kwon Joon-hak, president of NH Bank.

Excellent Company in Environmental Information Disclosure
NH Bank announced on July 9 that it was selected as an ¡°excellent company¡± in the 2021 Environmental Information Disclosure Awards hosted by the Ministry of Environment.
The bank received the environment minister¡¯s commendation at the headquarters of Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute.
NH Bank was selected as the winner of the Excellence Prize in the ¡°other service¡± category among 1,683 companies and organizations subject to environmental information disclosure, including central administrative agencies, local governments, public institutions, state-run universities and colleges, local state-run corporations and green companies.
The Environmental Information Disclosure Awards is an environmental management award program hosted by the Ministry of Environment and organized by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute to honor the people¡¯s right to environmental information and voluntarily spread environmental management.
NH Bank continues to carry out various systems and campaigns such as the establishment of an environmental management system, investment in water/energy savings and technology, the introduction of excellent low-power consumption computers and holding enterprise energy-saving campaigns.
¡°I am honored that NH Bank was the only financial institution to be selected as an excellent environmental management company,¡± President Kwon said.
¡°In the future, NH Bank will actively participate in the government¡¯s environmental policies through regular environmental information disclosures.¡±
Commercial Featuring Popular Comedian
NH Bank announced on July 16 that it released a commercial for foreign exchange affairs through collaboration with comedian Kim Hae-joon, also known as ¡°Cafe Owner and Manager Choi Joon¡± on July 5.
In the video, Choi reveals why he became a cafe owner with an episode of going to Ethiopia in order to study coffee, showing off his charm to an NH Bank employee who helps Choi with overseas remittances.
NH Bank will also hold the ¡°Choi Joon Impersonating SNS Event¡± until July 31 to commemorate the launch of the video.
Through the event, the bank will give camping parasols to 100 customers who take their selfies in front of foreign currency exchange and remittance stickers attached to the main gate of 1,122 branches nationwide and register them on their SNS channels.
¡°In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of NH Bank, we released this video so that MZ generation customers can feel familiar with NH Bank¡¯s foreign exchange business,¡± an NH Bank official said.
