President Kim Hong-yeon, who was elected as the 15th president of KEPCO KPS, a plant solution provider, took office in an inauguration ceremony at KEPCO KPS headquarters in Naju, Jeollanam-do, on June 25.
In his inaugural speech, President Kim said, ¡°Amidst an energy shift toward carbon neutrality and paradigm changes involving the power plant maintenance industry, KEPCO KPS will secure future growth engines through the expanding of its business portfolios to become a green energy company of sustainable growth.¡±
President Kim urged his executives and staffers to make KEPCO KPS trusted broadly by customers through customer orientation and spearhead ESG management and become a global company challenging toward the world.
In particular, he stressed that KEPCO KPS will become a green energy company of sustainable growth, being trusted by the people by reminding ownership spirit, challenging spirit and innovation determination to realize the vision of being the global No. 1 power plant maintenance platform leader.
Kim entered KEPCO in 1978. He held major roles such as head of KEPCO¡¯s overseas business operation division, chief of KEPCO Group management office and head of KEPCO Seoul regional headquarters.

KEPCO KPS Seals MOU on Integrity & Auditing with IIAC
KEPCO KPS and Incheon International Airport Corp. (IIAC) agreed to redouble efforts to spread integrity and advance auditing affairs among the public entities.
KEPCO KPS Executive Auditor Moon Tae-ryong and IIAC Executive Auditor Kim Kil-sung sealed an MOU on exchanges of auditing affairs and support at KEPCO KPS headquarters on May 14.
Under the deal, the two companies agreed to provide respective manpower support on cooperation and cross-auditing; offering mutual assistance to vulnerable internal control areas and exchange information in excellent areas; exchanging information on auditing methods and integrity administration through sharing of exemplary practices; and providing full support in holding joint workshops and jointly operating educational programs.
