¡°KNOWLAUM Magok¡± with 30,000 sq. meters in floor space is being built by Lotte E&C in the Yangcheono area in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
KNOWLAUM Magok will accommodate a knowledge industry center with 281 rooms and a 22-room support facility.
KNOWLAUM Magok borders Seoul Botanic Garden, measuring 500,000 sq. meters, so officials with inmate companies can enjoy walk and relaxation during lunch time.

¡®LE WEST,¡¯ Seoul¡¯s Biggest MICE Complex, to be Dedicated in Magok in Western Seoul by 2024
Magok MICE PFV, established by a consortium led by Lotte E&C, will develop ¡°LE WEST,¡± Seoul¡¯s biggest MICE complex in the Magok District in western Seoul.
LE WEST, to be located in Magok¡¯s special zone CPI, CP2 and CP3 blocks, will comprise of convention centers, hotels, elderly welfare houses, office buildings and shopping facilities.
MICE stands for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions. Magok MICE PFV is a joint venture established by Lotte E&C, SDAMC and Meritz Securities.
LE WEST, a combination of Limited Edition, Est and West, meaning scarcity and value maximization, connotes the sole city representing the west of Korea.
LE WEST will be built by 2024 on an area covering 82,724 sq. meters, nine times bigger than World Cup Stadium in Sangam-dong, Seoul.
Its total floor space stands at 920,000 sq. meters, twice that of COEX in Seoul.
The Magok MICE complex consists of four blocks — CP1, CP2, CP3-1 and CP3-2. Under an all-connected construction concept, convention centers, hotels and other all facilities will be connected through underground public pedestrians¡¯ passages.
CP1 Block, the biggest one, will accommodate convention, cultural and meeting facilities with seven basement floors and 13 ground floors, standing about 320,000 sq. meters in floor space, elderly welfare houses, office buildings and hotels.
Facilities related to the MICE industry will be built in the interests of tenant companies in conformity of the characteristics of the advanced R&D industrial complex. LE WEST is expected to spread to the southwest area MICE demand focus in the Gangnam area.
CP2 Block and CP3-2 Block will have retailing and office structures while CP3-1 Block will have elderly welfare houses where medical services connected with hospitals are offered on top of hotel-style services and educational programs.
LE WEST will be near the Magok¡¯s advanced R&D convergence industrial complex, an innovative growth center of the 4th Industrial Complex, in which 160 companies are located and 90 Korean conglomerates have R&D centers, including LG Science Park.
LE WEST boasts close proximity to Magok Station on Seoul¡¯s subway No. 5 and No. 9 and Magonaru Station on the railway leading to Incheon International Airport. It will be connected to Magok and Magonaru stations via underground pedestrians¡¯ passages.
