The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZA) has built a communications platform to support innovative growth of tenant companies at the IFEZ.
IFEZA announced the formation of the ¡°IFEZ innovative growth platform¡± to promote interactive communications between IFEZA and tenant companies on April 22.
Entering a maturity stage, IFEZ has been changing its development paradigm from development & FDI attraction to innovative growth.
Subsequently, IFEZA plans to make diverse communication channels, such as discussion sessions on shared development with a focus on companies, small-sized meetings of each field, and invitational experts¡¯ lectures and seminars by setting the innovative growth platform.
The move is designed to help each industry explore common collaboration tasks and provide open discussion space.
IFEZA plans to designate and discuss topics considered beneficial to tenant companies on a regular basis as well as lend an ear to on-site grievances and complaints and recommendations and explore ways of fixing them.

On the same day, IFFEZA held the 1st Innovative Growth Platform¡± event at the IFEZ Business Center of G Tower in Songdo, Incheon. Officials from Samsung Biologics, Celltrion, POSCO E&C, Incheon Commerce & Industry, Incheon Techno Park and related organizations participated in the event.
An IFEZA official said with the establishment of the platform, seamless communications among companies and between companies and related organizations will enable the formation of innovative ecosystem infrastructure for the strategic industries of IFEZ.

IFEZA Strikes Partnership with Google Startup Campus
IFEZA formed a partnership with Shinhan Square Bridge Incheon, the private sector operator of Incheon Startup Park, and Google Startup Campus on April 22.
Google Startup Campus is set up in seven cities in seven countries, including Seoul and London. Institutions and startups can open and use each other¡¯s space.
Under the partnership, Shinhan Square Bridge Incheon and Google Startup Campus jointly operate an accelerating program in the specialized smart city sector of IFEZ to support global startups¡¯ verification, business upgrade and investment connectivity.
IFEZA expects startups to ramp up their global market entry capabilities through connectivity of Google¡¯s global community.
