CJ Cheiljedang has launched a campaign to help people enjoy “Bibigo Kimchi” during all four seasons of the year.

Kimchi’s tastes tend to vary according to each season and type of materials, experts say. During the campaign, CJ Cheiljedang will share the secrets to how kimchi can be prepared differently according to each season.

In this context, CJ Cheiljedang has been communicating with consumers via digital advertisements and social network services under the catchphrase “Now in Season.”

The company has designated “Bibigo Chopped Vegetable Kimchi” and “Bibigo Chongak (Young Radish) Kimchi” as the flagship products of the campaign, in keeping with rising consumption of convenient kimchi and kimchi with specialty tastes.

CJ Cheiljedang’s advertising clips depict Bibigo brand model actor Park Suh-joon, eating Bibigo Kimchi with sounds and videos for each season. In particular, the crispness of kimchi is revived vividly by employing the autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) method.

CJ Cheiljedang plans to release a series of videos on specialty kimchi for each season via the Bibigo brand’s official Instagram and YouTube channels.

To name a few, they will include “Spring Cucumber Kimchi,” “Summer Young Radish Water Kimchi,” “Autumn Seokbakji Radish Kimchi,” and “Winter Dongchimi (Radish Water Kimchi).”

The promotion event via SNS channels is designed to help consumers enjoy kimchi’s specialty tastes for each season through “Bibigo Speciality Kimchi” products. CJ Cheiljedang is holding an online special event related to its Bibigo Kimchi brand every month.

The company presents LG Object Kimchi Refrigerator as a freebee to consumers who have purchased Bibigo Kimchi through the company’s exclusive online shopping mall, CJ The Market, according to the number of Bibigo Kimchi buyer stamps between April 13 and April 30.

A limited number of Bibigo Kimchi curation boxes, to be made available only through CJ The Market according to each season, will be released.

A CJ Cheiljedang official said the special event is believed to manifest Bibigo’s efforts and dedication to deliver delicious kimchi in all of the seasons. CJ Cheiljednag will redouble efforts to reflect Bibigo Kimchi’s values to consumers’ tables, the official said.

CJ Cheiljedang Promotes ‘The Market Sales Festa’

CJ Cheiljedang is accelerating efforts to attract the heart of consumers to the company’s exclusive online shopping mall, CJ The Market.

CJ Cheiljedang is holding “The Market Sales Festa,” giving discounts for more than 300 items on the online shopping mall for 10 days until April 10.

The Market Sales Festa is a monthly sales event, which started on the first day of each month. Coupons with a maximum 45 percent discount will be issued during the promotion period.

CJ The Market will release items that can be bought only through the shopping mall at discounted prices in the interests of mobile shoppers.
