‘Shinhan Card My Car’ Offers Diverse Discounts for Car-Related Services
Card holders are entitled to receive cash-back benefits when buying cars, regardless of purchase method

Shinhan Card has released “Shinhan Card My Car,” designed to offer diverse services related to automobiles. “My Car Card” holders are entitled to receive cash-back benefits when they buy cars regardless of purchase methods.


If its cardholders purchase a new car in a short-term installment of less than one year, they will be given a cash-back amount to a maximum of 100,000 won, or equivalent to 0.2 percent of their purchase money.


If its cardholders use a non-term installment of more than 12 months or auto financing such as an installment financing, a long-term rental and a lease, they can receive a cash-back corresponding to a maximum of 400,000 won monthly varying according to their car purchase money and previous card usage amounts.


Unlike other cards offering cash-back in the case of lump-sum car purchase, it is noteworthy that My Car Card also offers cash-back benefits toward auto financing.


This card provides diverse benefits, ranging from those related to car purchase to those of using auto-related businesses.


For instance, My Car Card users are given a discount of 40 won per liter of gasoline or 40 won per liter of LPG from all gas service stations – for a maximum discount of 150,000 won out of monthly filling service and charging price amounts.


My Car Card users are given a 30 percent discount on EV charging - a maximum of less than 10,000 won per month. The move is designed to reflect a rising demand for managing EVs.


They can receive a discount of 20,000 won when repairing cars at vehicle maintenance firms such as SpeedMate, autoOasis, Hyundai Blue Hands, and Kia Auto Q.


My Car users are given a discount of 2,000 won for Kakao T chauffer service and valet parking service. They can also receive a discount of 500 won from coffer shops.


But as for the cap of beneficiaries, car maintenance is limited to once monthly, twice yearly, Kakao T chauffer service, once daily and twice monthly, and coffee shop use, once daily and four times monthly.


My Car Hi-Pass Card holders can receive a discount of 1,000 won on toll charges once monthly. An annual membership fee of My Car Card is 27,000 won for domestic use and 30,000 won for an additional overseas use.


My Car Card holders can also sign up for My Car Hi-Pass Card and its membership fee is 2,000 won.


A Shinhan Car official said as far as it comes to a card product related to comprehensive car management is released, My Car Card has its card plate designed with special ink to some extent that card holders can experience the texture of a luxury car seat.
