LS Group is attaching top priority to ensuring safety, environmental responsibility and ethics. The business group is implementing companywide activities to get back to the basics to prevent safety-related accidents.
LS Cable & System (LS C&S) is participating activities to improve site safety conditions.
Early this year, the company announced core rules for safety, stressing that executives and staff nourish a sense of awareness toward safety on top of the conventional safety guidelines.
The step is designed to induce participation in such efforts.

Environment and safety teams are charged with managing safety facilities of each production operation, safety checks and rank and file¡¯s education and health management.

LS ELECTRIC Teams Up with Doosan & Hanwha in New/Renewal Power Generation Business
LS ELECTRIC has joined Doosan Fuel Cell, Hanwha Power Systems and Hanwha Asset Management in exploring new business models in the new/renewal energy fields.
LS ELECTRIC and three other companies struck an MOU on cooperation in the development of new business models related to turbo expander generator and fuel cell at The Plaza Hotel in downtown Seoul on Aug. 12.
Under the deal, the companies will promote technology exchanges concerning the recycling of unused energies, enhance efficiency of convergence energy resources, and develop business models.
They plan to expand the scope of cooperation by jointly implementing projects to recycle unused energies.
LS ELECTRIC has so far made massive investments in the new/renewal energy sectors.
The company has accumulated experiences in photovoltaic power, energy storage system, smart girds and other diverse smart energy sectors.
LS ELECTRIC will be responsible for materializing fuel cell business models and overseeing overall business projects.
Hanwha Power Systems will be charged with installation of turbo expander generator, a power letdown system, while Doosan Fuel Cell will be responsible for supplying fuel cell models.
Hanwha Asset Management will raise funds from the private sectors and offer financing services.
