KB Kookmin Card’s “Easy Card” can earn points and discounts at stores around the country, which is one of the benefits for the special card, the company said recently.

The company opted for the two sectors out of the seven sectors for giving points, including large marts and beauty shops, to give special benefits for its holders.

For easy recognition of the special credit card, the work depicting two rabbits of master industrial designer Stefano Giovanni was printed on the front.

Officials of the credit card firm explained that the name of the special card was meant to show that it can be used just about by everyone.

It is easy to handle for people who want to pursue digital cards in their daily lives. One of the benefits for using the accumulation-type Easy Card is that it can earn points for the user at any member store around the country, with 0.7 percent of the payments made with the card being turned into points.

If more than 500,000 won is settled with the Easy Card, the points worth 3 percent of the total purchases will be given, in addition for accumulation in all seven sectors where the card is accepted, including large marts, convenience stores, gas stations and electric charge service stations, institutes, beauty shops, communication fees and the apartment office fees and automatic payment.

If the preceding month’s purchase paid with the card goes over 500,000 won, the minimum of 10,000 points is earned and 20,000 points if the purchase goes over 1 million won.

The discount type cards earn 0.7 percent of the purchase in points regardless of the purchases made in the previous month and the preceding month include a single purchase amount can earn 5 percent of the purchase in additional points.

The selection of the type of the card, discount or accumulation types can be made on the homepage, mobile app. and the customer centers, on the Internet once every month.
