First category lottery applications for the Shinheung SK View Apartments, to be built by SK E&C, have been completed with the maximum competition ratio of 63.3:1.

SK E&C announced the outcome of the lottery application for the new apartment complex in Shinheung-dong, Dong-gu, Daejeon.

A total of 16,944 people applied for a “1st category” lottery for the distribution of 682 apartment units. In particular, 10,894 people submitted applications to distribute 172 units each with 84 sq.

meters in floor space, showing a competition ratio of 63.3:1, the highest one permitted.

All first category lottery applications for the newly built apartments have fully been booked.

SK E&C concluded that Shinheung SK View Apartments attracted attention from consumers due to excellent site location and specialized design designed to enhance housing comfortability.

Oh Dae-joo, head of the office of distributing Shinheung SK View Apartments, said Shinheung SK View Apartments have convenient traffic due to the proximity with Daedong and Shinheung stations on the Daejeon Urban Railway No. 1 and KTX Daejeon Station.

The apartment complex also has a better education environment with elementary, middle and high schools located within walking distance.

Apartments will be situated southward to maximize light, and specialized design specifications such as “fine dust” filters have attracted keen attraction from consumers.

The project calls for the construction of 12 apartment buildings with a combined 1,588 units. Each building has 33 stories and three basement floors. The size of the apartments ranges from 39 to 84 sq. meters in floor space.

Successful lottery winners are to move into the apartments in April 2022.
The distribution price tag stands at 11.49 million won per 3.3 square meters.

Successful lottery winners will benefit from deferred interest payments for 60 percent of each apartment’s purchasing price.

A model house for the newly built Shinheung SK View Apartments has been set up near the site at Chungmuro, Dong-gu, Daejeon City.
