Lotte Engineering and Construction Co. (Lotte E&C) selected as the key phrases for the residential housing trend for the new year, ¡°Safety First,¡± ¡°Respect for Preference,¡± and ¡°New Tro,¡± and focus on developing a residential space (AZIT2.0), reflecting the priorities of Lotte in the residential market.
The construction company¡¯s interior team said on Jan. 21 that the AZIT2.0 concept for residential housing space will be applied to apartments to be built and supplied by the company in the days ahead.
The new residential housing space concept means comfort, safety and a house tailor-made for the resident, exceeding the simple value for an ¡°agit,¡± an advanced form of the ¡°AZIT1.0,¡± an interior style introduced in 2017. The letter ¡°A¡± means safety in a room leading to the construction of a fire extinguisher.
In the entrance of an apartment, an air shower can be turned on to clean the dust that may have entered from outside, and a dining table light, which can clean the air at the kitchen, also is installed at the entrance.
The letter Z is taken from the word Zip to show that the entrance is also safe for convenience and utility, while the letter T means a space tailor-made for the customers, ¡°Is You,¡± a commodity made for a home for favorite pastimes, tastes and resting for individuals.
The AZIT2.0 style apartment will be first displayed at a model house show for the Gireum Station Lotte Castle Classia in Gireum near Jongneung, Seoul, which is to be allocated early this year before it is taken at all the apartments to be built by Lotte E&C.
Head of Lotte E&C Design Team Lee Jong-min said the review of the consumer trend showed that what consumers are concerned about in the location for their apartments is environmental problems, including those related to dust from outside, and nearby facilities to enjoy hobbies to balance their work and rest. He said they will do their best to develop apartments with interior designs to their liking, and to lead the changes and new brands of residences.
