Oak Room, Millennium Seoul Hilton¡¯s traditional English-style bar, will celebrate Halloween with a party on Saturday, October 27th.
Oak Room will be decorated with Jack-o-Lanterns, which will set the mood for a ghoulishly fun night. Staff will be dressed in costumes and the live trio, Night Birds, will be singing. A face painter will be on hand to decorate your face with Halloween inspired creations!
Entrance is free, and all partygoers who arrive in a costume will be awarded with a free welcome drink! There will be a prize for best costume, so come dressed to spook! Whether you come in costume or not, Oak Room is the perfect place to hang out this All Hallows¡¯ Eve!
Also at Millennium, Café 395, the hotel¡¯s all day dining restaurant, will celebrate Halloween with spooky decorations and special menu items such as pumpkin soup and Halloween cake on October 27th and 28th (Saturday and Sunday).
Cilantro Deli, the hotel¡¯s delicatessen, will introduce a special Halloween corner from October 25th through the 31st. During that time, Halloween cakes will be for sale – a wonderfully sweet way to celebrate this fun holiday! New Head Chef to Helm Taipan
Taipan, Millennium Seoul Hilton¡¯s Chinese restaurant, is honored to welcome new Head Chef Tiao Nai Hsing to its kitchen. Chef Tiao, who hails from both China and Korea, has had an illustrious career as a chef, and Taipan is excited to have him head Taipan¡¯s popular Chinese restaurant.
Chef Tiao has had over 37 years of experience in the restaurant industry, and has sharpened his skills as a chef working at Baek Ni Hyang, an acclaimed Chinese restaurant at 63 Building for seven years. Following that, Chef Tiao spent 14 years working at Westin Chosun Hotel.
Most recently, Chef Tiao was the Executive Chef at Dong Bo Seong (Gangnam branch), one of Korea¡¯s highest rated Chinese restaurants.
Chef Tiao¡¯s cooking ethos is one of sincerity, which he believes translates well to diners through his food. Chef Tiao works hard to create healthier dishes that aren¡¯t heavy handed with salt, oil, and starch yet still maintain maximum flavour and enjoyment.
Chef Tiao aims to elevate the high standards of sauces and recipes in Taipan¡¯s kitchen. He hopes that creating high quality dishes that diners will feel his sincerity and passion for Chinese cuisine at Taipan. Taipan is renowned for its innovative cuisine that showcases the complex flavors of China with its extensive a la carte selection including seasonal delicacies.
