GS Caltex¡¯s to Collaborate with 7 Start-ups
GS Caltex designated seven companies as beneficiaries of the GSC Start-up Garage Collaboration Program. The six-month-long program is designed not only to help GS Caltex ramp up competitiveness through creation of new businesses with 2,500 gas stations and start-ups, but also to explore new business models.
The program calls for pilot services or launching services by maxing out GS Caltex¡¯s infrastructure such as gas stations, charging outlets, light maintenance services, car washing services and GS&POINT services.
The seven beneficiaries of the program were selected based on technology, feasibility and business connectivity, with GS Caltex following an entry application and screening of entries since April.
They are expected to conduct diverse services like vehicle-sharing services, parking lot-sharing services and door-to-door tire replacement services. In particular, EV Start-ups are expected to have synergetic effects with GS Caltex.
