LG Electronics showcases the flagship smartphone G7 at its booth during the World IT Show 2018.

LG Electronics highlighted its strategic smartphone “LG G7 ThinkQ” that made its debut recently at the World IT Show 2018. The exhibition took place at the COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, from May 23 to May 26.
The electronics maker made a pitch for the spectacular core functions of the smartphone, including audio, battery and camera. LG Electronics set up experience zones according to each core function. Spectators at the AI camera experience zone were given the chance to experience the AI camera of suggesting optimal shooting modes according to such objects as people, pets, food, sunrises, sunsets and landscapes.
The rear camera of G7 ThinkQ has been upgraded with a 16 million pixel high-definition sensor. Visitors at the booth had a hands-on experience of shooting high-definition videos. The front-side 8 million pixel camera offers optimal selfie functions for 3D stickers and face-decoration effects. The “Super Bright Camera” function can be experienced at a separate darkroom. It is designed not only to take pictures in bright colors at places considered to be too dark to be seen by naked eyes, but also to make photos dream-like ones.
“Super Bright Displays” outfitted with G7 ThinkQ has become the brightest smartphone with such clear definition that it can even detect and eliminate sunlight glare.
“Boombox Speaker,” which has gained favorable reviews from foreign media, can also be experienced. Boombox Speaker utilizes a resonance chamber within the smartphone, which enables the expansion of more resonance space than conventional ones. The “Boombox Show” function can be experienced in which lights turn on according to the beats of music.
LG Electronics installed a zone to experience a trailer of “Kaiser,” a soon-to-be-released game by Nexon. G7 ThinkQ allows users to play games in clear definition both indoors and outdoors. The latest smartphone has “DTS:X” function to offer dimensional sound of a maximum 7.1 channel similar to the one offered by the premium iPhone.
LG Electronics introduced AI functions applied to TV and other home appliances. LG WHISEN air conditioner, armed with “Deep ThinkQ,” its own AI platform, is optimized for users since it learns life space, environment, use patterns and languages.
LG Electronics’ AI speaker “Think Hub” mounted with Naver’s AI platform “Clover” allows voice orders to operate LG Puricare air conditioner, Dios refrigerator, LG Gangpa Oven, Drum washing machine, LG dryer and LG Styler.
