The gaming notebook “Odyssey Z” released by Samsung Electronics.

Samsung Electronics showcased the latest products, including Galaxy S9, S9 Plus, 2018 QLED TV, gaming notebook “Odyssey Z” during the World IT Show that took place at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, on May 23. Visitors at the Korean electronics giant’s pavilion were given a chance to experience customer-oriented innovative, smart life.
The new color versions of Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus – burgundy red and sunrise gold – were displayed. Spectators experienced test-operating of differentiation functions of the latest smartphones at each zone, including super slow motion through taking 960 frames per second and innovative function of “My Emoji for making emoticons like avatar resembling to me.”
Via the “Bixby Vision,” Galaxy S9 users can confirm information in the previous format when they choose any mode they want, including real-time translation, shopping, food and location. They can choose the beauty mode to pretend make-ups with prestigious brand colors.
The 2018 QLED TV, the first one to be certified with color volume 100 percent, can present images like those on the original with excellent definition and detail of HDR 2000. It means that high-definition images can be expressed regardless the brightness of its neighborhood environment and content. It is outfitted with Artificial Intelligence 4K Q Engine that can upgrade low-quality images to 4K levels by applying five-stage algorism. Viewers can appreciate dramas or films without interference of light reflex.
The OLEV TV is targeting sports enthusiasts to show exciting moments of sweats of players competing in the upcoming FIFA World Cup season. If viewers turn on the game mode, they can experience games with fast movement reactions and optimal high definition by making the TV set into a game mode automatically.
At the Bixby Experience Zone, spectators experienced such functions as controlling the TV set by voice orders of the Bixby and IoT gadgets connected with smart Things cloud. Samsung Electronics has major home appliances, including 2018 TV sets, refrigerators, air conditioners and washing machines employed with the Bixby. Oven and robot vacuum cleaners and other home appliances will follow suit in the future.
The newly released notebook “Odyssey Z” is an optimal notebook for gaming. The latest notebook, with premium metal design, is outfitted with “Z Air Cooling System,” an innovative one for restraining heating. It offers optimal definition images varying according to each first person-shooters (FPS), real-time strategy game (RTS), role-playing game, and multi-play on-line battle.
