Lotte Confectionery¡¯s ¡°Buon Gelato¡± ice cream package work won the Silver A¡¯ Design Award in the packaging design competition category at the 2018 A¡¯ Design Award & Competition that took place in Italy, the home country of Gelato.
A¡¯ Design Awards are presented annually by the A¡¯ Design Award & Competition.
They are presented to products recognized in three aspects ¡ª creativity, innovation and design ¡ª in all industry areas, including industry, fashion, and art. A¡¯ Design Awards are prestigious prizes, divided into platinum, gold, silver, bronze, and winner categories. An awards ceremony for the 2018 A¡¯ Design Award & Competition will be held in Lombardia, northern Italy, on June 29.
¡°Buon Gelato¡± package entry of winning an A¡¯ Design Award was done in the course of a stern screening of 71,017 entries from 180 countries around the world in 110 areas. In particular, it takes on significance that Buon Gelato ice cream package has won an award in Italy, the home country of Gelato.
The winning Buon Gelato design entry is in harmony with the Mediterranean¡¯s indigo, bright, cheerful colors. It is beautiful and dynamic enough to be reminiscent of Gelato shops in the native town of Italy. Expression of objects using painting methods is unique and pictorial, so they are apparently attributable to the entry¡¯s winning more grades.
Lotte Confectionery is concentrating its capabilities on design management to strengthen its presence in the global market.
In this regard, Lotte Confectionery¡¯s ¡°Pepero Calamansi¡± and ¡°Cacao Nibs¡± entries won prizes in the main competition of iF Design Awards early this year.
