composition art show will take place in commemoration of the hosting of the
2018 PyeongChang Paralympics and featuring local artists. Between March 9th,
(Fri) and the 18th (Sun) this event which will take place under the theme of
¡°moon + moon art show: moon rise just a little higher¡± at a specially prepared
stage at Namdaecheon Wolhwagyo, will include footage of Daegwallyeong,
Andbandaegi, Gyeongpoho Lake, Odaesan Mountain and other places in Gangneung and
PyeongChang, all year round, and will have local artist as well as a children¡¯s
choir form the diverse membership in a water art show.
¡Û This art show,
will commemorate the Paralympics amidst a harmony of video clips, music, and
art. There will be a scenery sketch with an active practitioner in the area,
Jang Ae-ho, Lee Jang-wu, and Shimjeon Jeong Jun-hwan. Also, the photographers
Kang Yu-rim, and Kim Hye-yeon plan to attain to the image of a ¡°beautiful
goddess of the water¡± by creating a water art show that take components from
various art forms.
Also, at
this event a diverse group of regional artistic groups consisting of artists, Korean
classical musicians, dancers, singers and media artists will take part. By
displaying the scenery and images of the four seasons of the host cities of the
PyeongChang Olympics using video, body movement, media and other media,
visitors from Korea and abroad along with residents will receive the gift of a
variety of things to see.
This art
show will be directed every evening from 7 pm to 9pm for 10 days from March 9th
through the 18th, and on the 10th and 17th, which are both Saturdays. The water
art show concert will take place starting from 7:30 pm, which is expected to be
quite a show.
