The coveted $10 billion export tower award went to POSCO, who logged exports worth more than 10 billion won this year.
POSCO was one of 1,153 trade prize winners at an awards ceremony as part of the 54th Trade Day anniversary event in the COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, on Dec. 5.

POSCO, which established USS-POSCO Industries in 1986, its first overseas production operation, now has production operations in seven countries and fabrication centers in 13 countries.
The steelmaker exports steel products worth more than $10 billion around the world based on diverse services.
POSCO continues to develop future-forward and innovative steel products and utilization technologies like the “GIGA STEEL,” which is stronger and lighter than the conventional steel product, to brace fast changing business environment and global trends, and its high manganese steel, independently developed for the first time in the world.

POSCO has been selected as the No. 1 steelmaker with a competitive edge in the world by the steel analysis institution World Steel Dynamics (WSD) for the eighth consecutive year through the selling of value-added products based on solutions, steadfast unit price reduction efforts, and the implementation of innovative projects.
The steelmaker has made it onto the list of excellent companies in evaluations of Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for the 13th consecutive year, becoming the Korean company to be listed for the longest period.
