KB Kookmin Card’s “KB Tantan Daero Easy Home Card” is a special automatic payment credit card that gives holders a benefit of saving 60,000 won when bills related to apartment upkeep are charged, including phone and power bills. The credit card is the best option for consumers who want to save money as bank interest rates rise.
This special card gives discounts on any bills closely related to daily living expenses paid regularly with the card. This is the card for those who want to increase savings and have tight control over their household expenses. Since its introduction in June, this card has been used by some 100,000 card holders. Its reputation is spreading by word of mouth as time goes by, boosting the number of its holders.
The cardholder will get a 10 percent discount if such household expenses as power, phone, city gas and apartment upkeep bills are paid with the card on a regular basis.
Phone bills will be discounted as much as 10,000 won if the preceding month’s bill amounts more than 400,000 won; 20,000 won if the bill is more than 800,000 won; and 30,000 won if the bill is more than 1.5 million won. The discounts will be given only for mobile phones, landline phones, and Internet related connections of the three major communication companies, SKT, KT and LG U+, and are automatically paid with the card.
If bills for apartment upkeep, power and city gas were paid automatically in the preceding month and if they exceed more than 400,000 won, a discount of 7,000 won will be provided, if the bill is more than 800,000 won, as much as 10,000 won in discount will be given and 20,000 won if the bill exceeds 1.5 million won.
Bills for gas stations and public transportation can also enjoy discounts.
The annual fee is 15,000 won per card, while 9,000 won will be charged for those who use cell phones and a special mobile card without having the physical card issued.
