KODIT Wins Customer Satisfaction Award Korea at National Quality Award Convention
Credit guarantee fund runs special systems to improve its customer services for SMEs to obtain loans on easier terms
Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT) won the 2012 Customer Satisfaction Grand Award in recognition of the success of its policies geared toward providing satisfactory services to its customers on a continuous basis for the past several years at the 38th Korea National Quality Award Convention.
Chairman and CEO Ahn Taik-soo said, ¡°The award is an unlimited glory for the fund as it concludes our efforts to provide satisfactory services to our customers.¡± He continued, ¡°I would like to thank every customer, and SME customers in particular, who gave us encouragement and love, and all officers and staff of the fund for bringing such an honor to the fund with their hard work.
¡°We should take the award as encouragement for all of us at the fund to redouble our efforts for the sake of our customers in order to make a happy world for the business community, SMEs in particular, as a value creator so that SMEs can create diverse value on the way to becoming global enterprises moving up a step.¡±
KODIT was set up in 1976 to provide credit guarantees in support of SMEs in securing financing to bring about the balanced growth of the national economy.
Their target is to become a top global integrated financial credit support organization to help the growth of SMEs by providing credit guarantees to SMEs in line with economic conditions and government policies to create added value and to contribute to the development of SMEs and the financial industry.
The fund has been striving to reflect its strong will to create a world where businesses can feel happy with customers. KODIT has been operating ¡®CS Class¡¯ to provide tailor-made customer services with CS lecturers touring the branches where actual business goes on to see what kind of realistic customer service education they can provide at the classrooms.

KODIT has been picking out businesses with excellent potentials for growth using a futuristic business operation system including an improved sales limit application method to select the firms through more systematic means.
The fund introduced the new systems to provide information on bank lending rates so that SME borrowers can borrow money with lower interest rates. ¡°Online Loan Market¡± is the system to select banks for loans and ¡°One Time e-Group Insurance¡± is a customer-friendly loan product, combining bond insurance policies and loans for the benefit of the customers.
