Under its Vision, the company has been distributing specially made transparent umbrellas to children to prevent accidents

Hyundai Mobis recently held a ceremony for the declaration of the 3rd transparent umbrella sharing project to distribute the umbrellas to students attending a special class on science.
The company has been carrying on with the campaign to give away transparent umbrellas to children for their safety for three years under the theme that ¡°the world is beautiful because there is always the happiness of sharing with others.¡±
Under the vision, the auto parts maker has been at work nurturing talented children in science technology and has given away transparent umbrellas to children for their traffic safety.
The company started a special junior engineering classroom for children who are talented in science with the name ¡°Nobel Project¡± in 2005 with the aim to have the children, who might have poor concentration skills, to get interested in science in their daily lives by teaching them to be aware of scientific matters all the time.
The company also hoped that the Nobel Project would help increase the number of science majors in colleges and produce many talented scientists when the company took on the project.
As a way to promote the project, some of the staff from its plants and research institutes have been sent to primary schools around the country to hold classes on basic science subjects. Parents of the children involved in the project are very much in favor of it.
The transparent umbrellas have been given away since 2010 to children to show them the seriousness of traffic accidents and protect them. The company made the transparent umbrellas so children can see through them on rainy days and prevent them from getting into accidents and drivers can also see them easily as they are made of anti-light material. They are especially effective on windy days as they are not easily breakable by strong winds. They are made of lightweight aluminum and plastic film that is used for strengthening glass in deluxe automobiles, the company said.
Also attached to the umbrella is a whistle that the children can use to call for help when they are in danger. The company has been providing these transparent umbrellas to some 120 primary schools since the program began.Mobis Carries on With Its Social Work Under its Vision, the company has been distributing especially made transparent umbrellas to children to prevent accidents
