In his welcoming speech, Vice Chairman Chung Ui-sun said the company¡¯s new car models will help them increase sales, as the automobiles have been made with new technologies with customers¡¯ preferences in mind. Goals were strengthening commodities and the development of online facilities. They also discussed ways to boost customer satisfaction and investment in future car technologies, including ¡°connected¡± cars.

In detail, the new strategies they drew up involved a strengthened lineup of SUVs, along with the strategies to produce a new small SUV, KONA, and to boost customer satisfaction for G70, a compact luxury sedan of the Genesis.

The heads of the dealers were invited to join in on discussion to find the means to design an improved version of those models.

They toured Hyundai Motor Studio in Seoul. Later, they went to Jeju Island to go on test drives of the new Ionic model. They also experienced Korean traditional cultural events by watching traditional dance performances and songs presented during their dinners.
