Calls for staff to devote themselves to ‘ethics management’

Jung Eui-heon, head of the Business Management Division at KEPCO KPS took office as the new president of KEPCO KPS on Jan. 25.

KEPCO KPS held the 1st extraordinary shareholders’ meeting of 2017 at its headquarters in Naju and elected Jung as the power company’s 13th term president. 

In his inaugural speech, President Jung said, “KEPCO KPS’s maintenance business is in a process of upheaval, and each staff member should serve as a driving force for changes.” He urged his executives and staff members to devote themselves to “ ethics management,” which is at the center of the initiative to make KEPCO KPS a growth company. 

“The future of KEPCO KPS depends on raising its technology competiveness and exploring future growth engines,” Jung said. He stressed the need to secure core manpower, essential for ramping up its competitive edge to grow into the world’s best provider of plant services. 

President Jung, a graduate of Yonsei University Business Management Graduate School, held KEPCO KPS’s major positions, including the head of the planning, financing, and audit departments before he served as chief of the plant service provider’s Business Management Division.
