The seven affiliate firms in the group have been pushing its social service activities in tune with the basic philosophy, ¡°Sharing happiness between the customers and officers and staff through finance.¡±

¡°The Campaign for the Creation of Another Farm Village¡± has been a representative social service activity showing off the identity of NACF, which was one of the reasons for Chairman Kim¡¯s visit to a farm village in Gangwon Province, Wangdaechu (King Plumb) Village, in May.

He received a letter appointing him as the honorary village head as the result of continuous exchange and support by the financial group with the village.  The financial group also plans to carry out additional activities such as providing help to villages during their busy planting and harvesting seasons, making kimchi, taking vacations in farm villages, buying farm produce directly from farmers, along with other activities to spur exchanges between the group and the farm villages.

In October, CEOs and staff of the financial group sent seven kinds of farm produce to welfare facilities.

The financial group also provides special financial products tailor-made for farm villages across the country, including the NH New Hope Seed Loan, and the NH Exchange Loan, among other loans provided to less fortunate people in rural areas around the country. NH Financial Group suggests customers deposit funds in the so-called ¡°Love Law Deposit¡± and other financial accounts.

Last year, the financial group¡¯s executives and staff spent 210,000 hours of their own time conducting social service activities, including 2,244 cases of financial education for some 117,000 people, making the financial group continue to be one of the top institutions in providing social services in Korea.
