CGV Cheongdam Cine City Hosts ¡®SUBPAC Fall Film Festival¡¯ to Rerun Memorable Films
CGV Jeonju Gosa and Hyoja will hold 1st Jeonju Sound Film Festival; CGV Haeundae will hold Haeundae International Film Festival
CGV Cheongdam Cine City is holding ¡°SUBPAC
Fall Film Festival¡± to rerun romance and musical films people want to watch
again until Sept. 27.
People can appreciate a total of 10 films,
including the beautiful musical ¡°Mulin Rouge¡± and ¡°Chicago¡± as well as Japanese
soap opera film ¡°Calm and Passion¡± and ¡°Be with You, 2004¡± at a price of 10,000
won, a maximum 40 discounted price. Viewers are able to be thrilled at the
background music at the SUBAC 1 Theater,
the first such wearable form factor for immersive audio experience.
A lottery on films people want to
appreciate at the CGV Cheongdam Cine City again in celebration of the holding
of the festival will take place. Ten lottery winners will be presented with two
tickets of the musical ¡°Kinky Boots.¡±
CGV Haeundae will hold the Haeundae International
Film Festival (HIFF) from Oct. 5 to 16 in time for the opening of the 21st
Busan International Film Festival, one of Asia¡¯s largest film festivals.
Such opening films of the 21 BIFF as ¡°A
Quiet Dram, 2016,: Academy Award winner ¡°Spotlight¡± and ¡°12 Years a Slave, 2013¡±
will be screened during the HIFF. The HIFF will coincide with a special
exhibition that will look into the 20-year history of the BIFF extending from

CGV Jeonju Gosa and CGV Jeonju Hyoja will
hold the 1st Jeonju Sound Film Festival to showcase popular music
films from Sept. 27 to Oct. 3. The six select music films include ¡°Sing Street,
2016,¡± ¡°Born to be Blue, 2015,¡± ¡°Secret, 2007,¡± and ¡°Dancer in the Dark.¡± They
are expected to entertain the ears and eyes of filmgoers. Audiences can approach
each of them at a price of 6,000 won. During the festival, busking, flute playing
and percussion performances will be held at the lobby of each cinema, adding excitement
to the sound film festival.
