Sindoh to Release 3D Printer in Korea, U.S. China in March
Company makes preparations for building a lineup of diverse products tailored to meet customers¡¯ needs

27(Sun), Mar, 2016

Chairman Woo Suk-hyung of Sindoh.

Sindoh, Korea¡¯s representative printer and automated office equipment maker, said it will release a 3D printer the company has developed this month. Sindoh is making inroads into the 3D printer market following its entry into the 2D market.

The latest 3D printer is capable of printing products 200x200x200mm and reducing the laminate to 0.07mm. It is outfitted with a 5-inch large-size touch LCD panel designed to monitor the condition of the printer.

Users can observe the printing process through an inside camera lens, which is connected with a smartphone app. It means that users can cope with such internal glitches as filament loss. Sindoh plans to launch the latest 3D printer in Korea, the United States and China simultaneously.

¡°The product has been test-operated thoroughly for one year after its development, and we¡¯re making preparations to build a lineup of diverse products tailored to meet customers¡¯ needs,¡± Sindoh Director Lee Chul-woo said.

Sindoh unveiled an intelligent automatic printer, 3DWOX at the CES 2016 held in Las Vegas from Jan. 6 to 9. The 3DHome Plus WOX is easily operated, ¡°super-high¡± automatic, and enabled for 3D printing.

Sindoh hopes it will become as commonplace and convenient as conventional 2D printing.

In a related development, Sindoh has joined forces with Dassault Systems in popularizing 3D printing.

Sodoh said it has developed an optimal solution in which the 3D WOX enables 3D printing via Dassault Systems 3D design program ¡°Solid WOX.¡± It is the first case of 3D printing via the 3Ddesign program without slicing.

Both companies participated in the CES 2016 to demonstrate their 3D printing products. Sindoh Director Lee said Sindohh¡¯s collaboration with Dassault Systems has contributed to enhancing the standing of the global brand Sindoh, and the two companies will expand cooperation to make greater achievements.
