Vice Chairman Chung Ui-sun of Hyundai Motor said the car maker¡¯s ultimate purpose is to produce the brands of vehicles loved by the people. He made the statement at an annual meeting of the auto maker¡¯s international dealers, totaling 235 from 37 countries on Sept. 8-11 at Coex in Seoul.
Hyundai Motor has been holding the new car dealers meetings every year to discuss ways to expand the sales of its cars through its global sales network, which includes the new auto dealers and the CEOs of the companies that sell its cars, to share a new joint vision for the expansion of the sales of the motor firm¡¯s cars around the world.
Chung said the company¡¯s strategy is not to be the largest automaker in the world, but to produce cars that are most loved by the people. He said no car maker can exist without their customers, and therefore, car dealers should do their best to satisfy the customers as the representatives of Hyundai Motor¡¯s car brands.
Vice Chairman Chung has not missed the annual meeting for all of its car dealers abroad held in the first half of the year, and the meeting for all of its new car dealers around the world in the second half of the year.
At the last day of the event, on Sept. 11, Hyundai Motor¡¯s new car dealers around the world were presented with the car maker¡¯s ¡°Modern Premium Strategy¡± directed at brand names of Hyundai Motor cars, the global marketing strategies, and the dealer management strategies so they would understand the motor company¡¯s moves in connection with the sales of its vehicles around the world.
At the meeting, the Hyundai Motor introduced a number of new models, including the new Tucson and the new Creta. The motor firm also put on view the environmentally friendly new Tucson ix, and a number of new car models, including a hydrogen powered one, along with a new car model under development, the high-powered N brand car model to hit the market soon.

Hyundai Motor plans to expand the number of its digital showrooms for its cars in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; another in Madrid, Spain; and in London next year from the two in operation now, in London and Dubai.
